It's been so long since I've written anything other than "reader falls into perfect love with the perfect partner" that my first non-reader-centric fanfic has accidentally turned into a social commentary on deep-rooted bigotry 🤔

In other words, guys I've started writing my Ojiro, Tokoyami & Shoji mermaid AU fic! 💪 It's my first ever General fic, but even with the commentary, it's still a feel-good story, and (loosely) a reader-insert!

In your opinion, which one scene/still best embodies Ojiro's character? Or which one scene/still would you show someone to convince them on Ojiro and the fantastic overlooked character that he is?

Uta, I can’t just pic a scene! It’s a whole story of a boy growing into a hero even just in the background that gives him the flavor of character I like so much.  Not just a faceless background-san but a real person with a whole story just behind the scenes! The scene itself of course being Deku’s, All Might’s, Uraraka’s, Shoto’s and Iida’s.  But that’s just half of it, if we followed Oji we’d see a full sotry where Deku occasionally drops into his story.

But that’s enough of my saying how much I love Horikoshi-sensei’s story building, you’d like an answer!

It’s most likely the scene in Provisional Hero Exam where he meets up with Deku for two Reasons!

1. This part where he comes in to assist, communicates, and then takes decisive action.  As someone who has had to be an adult for a good few years now, this approach is something I wish I saw more.

2. and These two Parts where his distinct fighting style is shown off clearly and powerfully.

I'm so weak for a more cat-like Ojiro... (it spurs on ShinOji and I will not deny that that is half the reason) Like Ojiro leaving pawprints in the bathroom? Have everyone convinced that there's a dorm cat?? Pawprints on the microwave???!!! And Aizawa getting curious as well I'm so so sO WEAK

jfkdh I NEE D MORE CAT LIKE OJIRO, hes the dorm cat, he sleeps curled up in the couch, purrs and scratches the curtains!! (momo makes new ones) Aizawa tells them that they should ask first if they wanted a cat, and ojiro is like it ????was?? mE???????????sowwy??????

Meet Benjiro Shinshi also known as, The Trickster Hero; Devil Tail

With the quirk Demon’s Face, Benjiro was ‘abandoned at birth’ at a Quirkist orphanage. Believing that he was a demon of some sort Benjiro believed he would have never make it to be a hero or even worse, an anyone at all in the world. This of course all changed when he met his best friend Tycca Kita- a young girl who absolutely strives to become a hero. Befriending her has not only been the best thing that had ever happened to Benjiro’s life but is also the true reason to why he joins UA high. Put in Class Z, an overflow class with students with potential to be heroes but we’re not chosen for the top two hero course classes, it’s Benjiro’s turn to just show the world the true hero he is.

Headcannon of scents for those in 1 A? (using your own hc of their abo status) ((I HC Ojiro to be vanilla, the most plain sajdkfkhkjhfd but I want to know what you hc!))

I did this a long time ago, but it could sure use an update!

Yuga Aoyama, Beta: A very dull coffee scent. You have to be looking for it to really notice.

Mina Aishido, Alpha: Lemon and lime with an underlying note of jasmine. A lot of people compare her scent to sour candy.

Tsuyu Asui: Alpha: Freshly fallen rain and dirt. Extremely earthy!

Tenya Iida: Alpha: Very fresh, minty with a hint of orange.

Ochaco Uraraka: Beta: Lemon grass and ginger. When she’s angry the ginger scent comes on a lot stronger.

Mashirao Ojiro, Omega: Fresh baked cookies and a hint of vanilla. A lot of Alpha’s comment that he smells very homey and comforting.

Denki Kaminari, Alpha: Cinnamon and cherry, a strangely pleasant smell, but get’s him confused for an Omega sometimes.

Eijiro Kirishima, Alpha: Tangerine and Nutmeg. A lot of students complain about his scent being unpleasant.

Koji Koda and Rikido Sato: Still don’t have enough info to properly judge these two.

Mezo Shoji, Alpha: Pine and Ceder, very popular with the Omega students.

Kyoka Jiro, Alpha: Jasmine and Basil. Her whole family smells like a herb shop.

Hanta Sero, Beta: His scent is very faint, but most people peg it down as Peppermint.

Fumikage Tokoyami, Alpha: Pine and Blood Orange, but the Pine overpowers the faint scent of orange with his quirk is in use.

Shoto Todoroki, Beta: Spearmint, like his mother.

Toru Hakagure, Beta: Rose. She spooks people out sometimes when she’s not wearing clothes. They just get this strong whiff or rose and can’t pinpoint its location.

Katsuki Bakugo, Alpha: Burning pine and sugar, an absolute mix of his parents.

Izuku Midoriya, Omega: Cotton candy and Strawberry. Super sweet and can be detected miles away.

Shinsou Hitoshi, Beta: Doesn’t have much of a scent, but when angered you can catch a hint of Cinnamon.

Momo Yaoyorozu, Alpha: Pine, freshly fallen rain and a touch of jasmine.
