My absolute favorite underrated trope is 'surprise murder/assassin siblings'. I've only ever seen this done in Hitman: Agent 47 with 47 and Katya and in Utopia with Jessica Hyde and Arby.

I guess I like it so much bc these people are like really messed up and have no stability or a good family and they're like "I'm an emotionless killing machine" but then, surprise, they have a sibling who's just like them in that sense. So now they have someone who can empathize and they have a bit more stability now too.

It's way better than 'the two murderers get together in the end'. It's just much more wholesome and more satisfying and subverts your expectations.

I LOVED Utopia on Amazon Prime!

It was very fast moving, the characters are compelling and it was just so damn good.

Was it a bit of a bad time to release a show like this? Probably but how could they have known that the pandemic was going to happen while they were filming which had to be about a year ago?

I haven’t seen the british version don’t come from me.

If you’re looking for a show you can get hooked on and watch in a day,give Utopia a chance!
