A scene from 1984's "V: The Final Battle." A somewhat less-than-inspired follow-up to Kenneth Johnson's masterful allegorical "V" from the previous year; this series nevertheless still managed to deliver some powerful moments --one of my favourites being this tense confrontation between privileged collaborator Eleanor Dupres and her son, resistance leader Michael Donovan. Neva Patterson and Marc Singer deliver their 110% Shakespearean best in spite of the slightly-condescending dialogue. And the larger lesson made its point.

anyway im a diana (visitors-V miniseries) apologist shes just a confused lesbian lizard trying to find her way in this vast, cold and dark universe and earth girlies were just sooo damn hot and caused her to short circuit and in a moment of gay panic she went for genocide and cruel experiments instead of opening tinder (bc it was the 80's and tumblr didnt exist and she was an alien who doesnt understand what dating apps are)
