Dudley Dursley, at the tender age of four, did accidental magic. There was no denying that it was him. Somehow, over the years, the Dursleys adapted and became a real family. Harry and Dudley were in it together, even when it came time to go to magic school.

Nobody was thrilled about the idea of Hogwarts and neither of the boys wanted to leave their parents behind, but they worked it out.
