This made me think about stuff:

I imagine in many potential timelines, Arthas was considered Lordaeron's greatest king, too. Ditto for Kael'thas in Quel'thalas. At least Azshara was considered the greatest queen of the night elves before she joined the villains' club.

I wonder if that's why Kairoz targeted Garrosh specifically, knowing what he was like in alternate timelines. (I miss Kairoz. He had so much potential as a villain but was killed off way too soon.)

What I saw there was a boss fight that took my guild weeks of wipes and frustration, as well as a great feeling of accomplishment when we downed him on the 100-somethingth try. Truly one of the hardest-won victories of my raiding career. (I just wasted a half hour of my life trying to find the screenshots of that boss kill, and failing. Phooey.)

I'm reminded of how many wasted opportunities there were in WoD to really go crazy with AU concepts. I wanted to see evil Durotan, gentle shaman Gul'dan, etc. Oh well.

I recently unlocked Zandalari trolls as an allied race. Since she was the first Horde alt I took through BFA content, I did the quests on my tauren hunter. I love how Vacanahwe is turning to look at Talanji like, "Yeah, you tell 'em, girl!

It was actually kind of fun to see all these guys again. In some aspects BFA was when the lore really started to go downhill in my eyes, but I do have good memories, too.

Nathanos saw my hunter's alpaca and was like, "Why is this sickeningly adorable creature staring at me?"

I really miss the grumpy stinkman and his master-level snark.

Anyway, I made a Zandalari hunter.

I leveled her to 23 in Zuldazar. I don't know if she'll be a major alt (I already have two other hunters at high levels, plus another one I don't play often) but I'd sure love to get her high enough to solo the Dazar'alor raid and learn to tame a crawg pet.

Eitrigg: "Not any longer. I will explain..."

I don't envy Eitrigg that conversation...

I've always lowkey shipped Garrosh and Zaela, so I couldn't help noticing that she calls him by his first name in the quests to unlock the Mag'har as an allied race.

Not "Warchief Hellscream" or "my warchief" or anything formal. Just "Garrosh."

It probably means nothing, and both characters are long dead in canon, but I take whatever shreds of canon I can get for my obscure ships...

Skarlette and the gang are ready for Shadowlands!

One demon hunter, one warrior, one death knight, one monk, one shaman, one mage, one warlock, two paladins, two hunters, and two rogues.  And both hunters are Horde.  I don’t even know how that happened.  LOL

Skarlette’s new transmog for Shadowlands is still fiery, but a bit more somber for venturing into the realm of death.

WoW Model Viewer was having some issues with night elves so my demon hunter is missing his blindfold and tattoos, and the rogue is missing her face tattoos and new hair leaves, but otherwise things turned out well.  :)

Vacanahwe took a wrong turn and ended up needing to feign death to escape a bunch of blood trolls.  Oh well, she lived, and I got a cute screenshot of a snuggled crawg.

What do you mean, it’s a smuggled crawg?  Clearly it’s a good floppy potato who deserves to be cuddled!

Vacanahwe was like, “I knew it!  I knew that brat was up to no good!  And what did she call me?  Something with ‘moo’ in it?  She’s prejudiced against tauren, besides!  Harumph!”
