‘Please, it hurts so bad, please!’
CW: Two whumpees, pet whump, broken bones, sadistic whumper, muzzled, vague reference to noncon
The pet stares in stony silence at the empty liquor bottles lined up on the mantel. His legs ache and throb, muscles pleading to be stretched, but he makes no sound. He stays curled in his cage under the side table, even though the door is open and unlocked.
Behind the leather muzzle, he feels the tacky sweat sticking to his skin, the humid air he breathes through the holes carved into the mask.
Down in the basement, the twenty-first of Robert's victims is screaming.
"God, no, stop-" The words are gone, twisted suddenly into a wordless shriek that makes the pet shudder, curling himself up even more tightly, clenching his eyes shut.
The screaming seems to hang in the air forever. Underneath it is the sound of Robert's breathing, grunting in a rhythm the pet refuses to visualize. He doesn't need to - he'll feel it himself soon enough.
"Please, it h-hurts so bad, stop, please!"
The screaming again. The pet wishes Robert would gag them - that would be easier than this.
Eventually, Robert comes back up the stairs. There's blood on his hands, in his hair, on his face. He glances only sidelong at the pet, flashing his teeth in a smile.
"I'll get started on dinner," Robert says, voice cheerful, as if he's been knitting or some goddamn thing. "How do you feel about meatloaf?"
The pet stares at the red flecks on Robert's face and thinks about the ketchup glaze on top of a meatloaf. He swallows back the nausea and says nothing.
Not like he can, with the leather keeping his jaw nice and locked.
"Hm. You're right. How about beef noodle soup?"
The pet still says nothing, but Robert turns to the kitchen and walks away.
"Beef noodle soup it is," He murmurs to himself. "Gotta keep his strength up, Bobby, or he won't last half so long as Twenty did. Keep them strong, gotta keep 'em strong til they're ready..."
He disappears into the kitchen. The pet never moves a muscle.
From the open door to the basement there is only a hoarse sobbing that goes on and on and on.
