seeing as how my most popular post right now is about glitchspringtrap, i thought i’d make some lore clarifications :)
all things here also apply to spring bonnie. except for springtrap. springtrap is a spring bonnie, but spring bonnie is not a springtrap.
william afton: you don’t see this springtrap often. this is freshly spring locked will. he is still in there. you can tell it’s him. he does not have eyelids because i think it makes him look dumber and more naive (also how i draw him in spring bonnie suit). his expression screams both “dude wtf just happened” and “i am going through severe withdrawal symptoms”.
glitchtrap: this guy knows what he’s doing. he’s used to bunny suits. he can use his voicebox, even in the springtrap suit. i consider him a completely separate entity than william afton. i like to use a more red purple for him because thats the color i used for wafton’s stitches. springtrap may not be his ideal suit because of the lack of mobility, but he’s still having fun (as shown in my fnaf3 mike post.)
springtrap: this is pretty much your average depiction of springtrap. chilled out. bored out of his mind. peepaw. you get the idea. this is the closest to wafton of the springtraps. he can’t talk, but he can almost use his voicebox. just give him another fire, he’ll get it in time.
what is a WAFTON?
this. this is a wafton. something something glitchtrap gets bored of watching cassidy watch will in hell getting along with the animatronics after a while, and basically says “hey dude i’ll get u out of here u just gotta fuse with me. ur still getting tortured though” and wills like ok sure man. so glitch literally sows his pieces back together and then puts literally every version of will into his brain (what i tag as afton’s headspace, and also call The Void.) cause i guess he can do that. wafton can somewhat control his other variants, but they all have much more power combined than him. also he lets mike and cassidy in there for funsies. so now they can all harass him as he attempts to live his silent undead life.
