"Bonsoir-" Lestat opened the door to the ancient vampire, he through clenched jaws, he agreed with Armand's interpretation that he ought to speak to his Maker after that night where Marius and Lestat fought when the ancient dared to harm his partner. Lestat would never have won any sort of physical confrontation had he not been Anthony's Marius could have snapped him like a twig but to Lestat's pride, he still fought like a back alley Parisian.
//Cover your ankles// Lestat projected to Valentin. "I believe you know your way to our salon, old one" he gestured Marius to come inside and would chaperone him to Armand. "I shall be next door mon amour with Valentin. Call us if you need anything" Lestat kissed Armand's cheek and would with Valetin in tow go to the room next door, he'd give them a mere ten minutes to speak and then music would bump so loudly from the recreation room. (that song is so passive-aggressive in context of our threads I could not resist Ellieeeee)

Some time has passed since the fight Marius had with not just Lestat and Armand, but also Anthony. His best friend was overly protective of his fledgling, and the news of their fight enraged Anthony more than necessary.Â
Marius wore a long, bright red coat when Lestat opened the door. His long, silver-blond hair was partly tied back, so it wonât fall into his face. The tall, Roman statue observed Anthonyâs fledgling, then his gaze moved to Valentin. The youngest and very weak Vampire pulled his bright coloured, fluffy socks up before he approached Lestatâs side. âGood evening, SeĂąor de Romanus,â the youngest said politely, but also made sure he stood half behind Lestat. As much as Val tried to hide it, someone as old as Anthony scared him, and knowing that Armand and Lestat both fought with the ancient made it even more unsettling.
âGood evening.â Mariusâs voice was calm. Cobalt blue eyes lingered on Lestatâs face. The tension in the house was thicker than ever. Valentin quickly reached for Lestatâs hand before they made it to the Salon. Armand sat in an armchair with his legs crossed. âThank you, my love.â Armand caressed Lestatâs cheek and nodded at Valentin. âGood evening, Sir. Please, have a seat.â Armand gestured at the armchair across from him, to which Marius nodded. He settled down, adjusting his coat and his hair. Both Vampires stared at each other for longer and in pure silence. Two minutes of silence passed before Marius opened his mouth.
âYou know what he is doing.â
âI do, Sir.â
âAnd you know that when the day comes, you willââ
Armand lifted his hand to interrupt this dreadful conversation before it could escalate once more.
âI love him.â
Marius nodded; silence once more fell over them. âYou love him selflessly. For all his strange faults and wild evil. You love him perhaps more respectfully than Iââ he paused for a second, then continued eventually. â--Than I ever loved you.â
Armand only looked at his Maker, silent, his face as neutral as ever to hide his emotions behind a brick wall of indifference. âWhen the time comes, Master. Do not protect meââ Sudden loud, blasting music from the recreation room in which Valentin and Lestat built their little Lego models, interrupted Armand before he could say more. Both old Vampires turned their heads toward the direction of the room. Unlike Marius, Armand was fully aware that the choice of music was a passive-aggressive message from Lestat. Poor Valentin, he must feel like he is sitting next to a volcano. Armand chuckled a bit at the mere thought.
âI will accept your decision. But you will always be my child.â Marius got up from his seat, and so did Armand. The younger Vampire closed the distance between them and allowed Marius to wrap his arms around him. Marius put one arm around his fledglingâs middle, and the other hand rested on the back of his head. Meanwhile, Armand rested his cheek on Mariusâs shoulder. No word was spoken between them as the music kept blasting loudly. Marius leaned in, kissed the top of Armandâs head on his thick, dark curls, before he let go of his fledgling. They both took a step back.
âYoung one, you can turn the music off and come to the salon,â Marius said out loud to be heard in the other room, his blue eyes remaining on his fledgling as he spoke. âTake care of Daniel. I cannot face my fledgling anymore. But let me be happy with the man I love more than my own life.â Marius sighed a little, but he nodded. âLestat de Lioncourt.â Mariusâs voice was louder now, almost like a warning that the younger Vampire should stop raging in the other room.
