　　Former human and "cattle" of the Sakamaki Family, Valeraine is a newblood* Vampire who was once a temporary vessel for Cordelia's heart before her turning. Now the wife of the newely-crowned Vampire King, Sakamaki Richter, she takes the title of Queen.

*Newblood: Humans who have been possessed by a Vampire/Demon, and turned because of it.

　　Harbouring the Vampire's heart, Valeraine was surrendered into the possession of Richter, by Sakamaki Reiji, after falling ill. The former nursed her back to health, whilst keeping her under lock and key, until Cordelia was able to take full possession as originally intended.

　　Trapped, and at the complete mercy of his lust for blood - and Cordelia - her physical, emotional, and mental being was insatiably violated by the obsessive man. Serving as his food, his toy, and his confidante, her own twisted feelings begun to develop. Divided between her own unforgivable feelings for him, and the desire for his happiness, with the awakening came a fight to selfishly rid Richter of his century-long anguish; Of Cordelia.

　　Her own obsession and possession over him drove her to find a means to overpower and subdue Cordelia and, in return, forever bind Richter to herself.

　　Awakening as a Vampire in the process, Cordelia is now eternally at her mercy, resurfacing rarely - and only temporarily - with Valeraine's permission.

1. What is the character’s go-to drink order?

On Ilium, probably some kind of fancy fruity cocktail in a pretty color. On Zeb? Water. She'd grudge every dollar she spent on "fun" drinks.

3. What was their most expensive purchase/where does their disposable income go?

Saving up for equipment for the house and garden to make their lives better.

4. Do they have any scars or tattoos?

They've got a company name painted on, that's sort of like a tattoo. And after operating for a century, there's bound to be some scratches. Of course, Space Roomba (their name is Terry now, incidentally) doesn't really consider the robotic body that they are using to be *them.*

7. Describe the shoes they’re wearing.

Very solid and practical, and well worn.

8. Describe the place where they sleep.

The Bellamy's house isn't too big by their standards, but it's comfortable enough for them to live in. So Artemis is in her own small room. It's a little cluttered, because a lot of the things they wouldn't have been able to sell would be smaller sentimental items, and they gained even more value to her with everything that was lost. Definitely pictures of her daughters at various ages, and a family picture from when her husband was alive near her bed. Her bed is kept neatly, and is fairly simple. Of course a lot of the time she's out on flights, where she'll sleep in a bunk on her ship. She's got pictures for her ship too, but overall keeps it much neater.

10. What objects do they always carry around with them?

The Machine doesn't so much carry objects around as have objects built into him. Any time there's another tool that could be useful to him, he just adds another arm, or perhaps a removable attachment. A lot of his tools are for gardening.

1. What is the worst thing that's ever happened to you?

The obvious answer would be the loss of mother's ships, and our fortune. But as bad as that was, we could have dealt with that. It's what happened after - the way our old supposed friends deserted us.

26. What's a talent you have that you're proud of?

Diffusing arguments between Isolde and Jacinth. It's not easy!

Artemis

4. What is your dream home like?

If it weren't for the girls, my dream home would be a ship. They're a bit more tethered than I ever was, though. I always thought I might retire once they were settled with their own lives and go flying around on my own... well, I don't think I'll get a chance like that now. I don't think I'd like to replace the ship I have - she feels like home now. But I'd get her all fixed up and shiny, if I could. And of course adapted from cargo to a living space for me. Well, maybe I'd still pick up a little work now and then. Gives me something to do.

19. If you could say one thing to everyone in the world what would it be?

Put out an advertisement, I guess. Not that I really have the best credentials to offer anymore as far as business. But I am a good pilot. Maybe I could find something better than what I've got. I don't know, I'd almost hate to pack everything up and leave again. Maybe I could find something better for the girls.

24. What would you do with 3 wishes?

I'd wish to be back on Hélène, to be securely well off, and to have the respect of our old circle there.

9. What's a nice compliment you've received?

Isolde once told me I was the most stubborn immovable woman in the galaxy in pursuit of worthless goals. Well, she meant it as an insult, but coming from her...

21. What are your hobbies?

Hobbies? I don't have time for hobbies. When I'm not working, I have to work on actually managing to grow anything on this hellhole, and looking for better work, and taking care of the house, and scouring for replacement parts for the ship at a good deal, and making sure Isolde doesn't buy parts that are so cheap they won't be worth it, and trying to keep Valeraine from taking up garden space on flowers...

10. How is/was being a teenager like for you?

I was never a "teenager" as you would understand it. Long before I had been self aware for thirteen years, I was already far more advanced than any human adult. In my "teen years," as far as chronological years... that was still early in the time of this... curse, if you will. I was working on building my new form and tending to that rose. I was beginning to realize that it might not be broken very quickly after all.

14. What's your best memory?

I have a perfect memory. I recall everything that has ever happened to me with equal clarity.

8. What's something you'd like to learn how to do?

I enjoy learning about things, but there's very little I would want to do that I do not already know how to do. I suppose I always have been more of a creature of the mind.

11. If you could turn into any animal, what would it be?

Oh, that's interesting. I would be... well, you do not have a name for it, it's extinct now and no human ever saw one. Which is why I would pick it: so you might have a chance to see it. Of course there's a lot of options I could pick for that, but this one's my favorite - or maybe I'm used to being small and cute (it is also small, and I do consider it cute. Maybe it would seem too strange to humans.)

🏞️ If your OC could travel to anywhere in their world where would they go? Why? If they could live there would they?

I take "world" to mean "galaxy." There's not much to see or do on the "world" Valeraine lives on - a moon of a gas giant named Zephyrus-B. More than wanting to go somewhere specifically, Valeraine would just like to travel. Her mother tells wonderful stories of her days as a pilot (well, her mother still is a pilot, but doesn't go as far.) It's a big galaxy, there's so much that she could see! She wouldn't mind living on a starship going from planet to planet, experience as much as possible.

☁️ What’s something your OC wishes they could forget? Why is this? Or, what is something that your OC has forgotten? (or do both!)

Sometimes, she thinks she would prefer to forget the riches of her life in Hélène. It might make losing them easier to bear. Yet she wouldn't want to forget the time she had with [unnamed dead husband.]

☕ Give us one (or more if you feel like it) of your OCs deep dark secrets! Why do they keep it hidden? Spill the tea!

If her former fiance took her back, she'd hate herself for it but she'd go back. She doesn't know which part of that is more of a secret. But she wants people to think she can make it on her own.

🔥 If your OC known for having temper tantrums? If not, what gets them really angry? What makes their blood BOIL? Is there anyway to calm them down or are they unstoppable? What are they like when they’re angry? Do they take it out on their loved ones?

Jacinth gets into arguments with Isolde a lot. They have clashing philosophies that spill out across their lives. She gets angry because she thinks Isolde's desire to return to their old life is holding them back. They need to put all their effort into trying to build for the future. But also, she doesn't want to go back to Hélène. She hates how they left, the shame and disgrace, she hates the false friends that abandoned them, she hates how empty their life proved to be, she hates that Isolde makes her remember it, that she wants to dredge it up again and again, that she's letting it live in her mind. Valeraine is the best at calming her down - she takes a more diplomatic position between her sisters. Jacinth definitely takes her anger out on Isolde, and sometimes on Valeraine, but tried very hard to never take it out on her mother.

👀 Describe your OC through the eyes of another person! (bonus + specify who)

The Machine, as seen by Artemis: it's a horrible, unnatural thing. It's not built right, not like anything someone would make intentionally. Too many legs, shuffling along methodically, clanking and lurching. Too many arms, sticking out at odd angles with different tools and hands on the ends. Nothing at all like a face, but it sees, and it hears, and it speaks. It has a will... save us, but it has a will of its own. And it is hateful. Monstrous.

💎 Does your OC collect anything? Is there a reason? When did they start and is it beginning to turn into a little bit of a hoarding issue? What do they do with their collection?

Space roomba is not really one for possessions, and really far more engaged with the world of ideas than the physical world. But it likes observing people. Maybe it collects stories. It had plenty of memory space, though, no worries about hoarding.

5. What OC has, like, one friend?

That would be Seyetto - the one friend being Rinnyx. I could also mention Bracken. Kestrel is one of the few who isn't his twin who can put up with his abrasive personality, and the twin is like, a freebie.

9. What is your favorite platonic relationship between  your OCs?

Well, speaking of Rinnyx and Seyetto - it is them. When I made this ask meme I was thinking of them. (At any given moment I am thinking of Them.)

Seyetto had accepted at a young age that as a crown prince he would not have Friends. Anyone would have an ulterior motive in wanting to be close to him. And of course he should allow some people to become friendly acquaintances, he could never forget where things stood. Rinnyx wants to be friends with everyone. That was his only ulterior motive when he sat down next ro Seyetto in the classroom of the fancy tutor they shared and attempted to befriend him - earnestly, unreservedly, no more or less than any others of their classmates. They couldn't be more different from each other, but they've been best friends ever since. They are the most important people in each other's lives. Rinnyx is one of the only people who Seyetto will be simply Seyetto with. And Rinnyx - if he has to choose between Seyetto and the world, in the end, it's going to be Seyetto.

Is there anyone OC used to be very close to, but no longer is?

No problem that you didn't specify anyone, I'll just pick who it fits best - and that's Valeraine. She had a nice circle of friends in the high society life on Hélène. Unfortunately, she found out how shallow these friendships were when her family lost its fortune and were no longer welcome in this society.

The Machine, too, was once close to his (its?) creator, until he decided he was better.
