I have been looking around the Internet for bird things the past few days and it calms me. I did okay with Tink I think, and I really like birds. Maybe one day I'll adopt a new one, though that will be at least a few months in the future. But about that, is there anybody with tips for adopting a cockatiel, specifically in the Netherlands? I am an adopt don't shop type of person and just really dislike mass breeding people and I am pretty sure there are more birds out there like Tink who have been abandoned and I'd like to give one of those a welcome home

horrible day.

One of my little birds is badly ill. She wasn't really tame and I could never touch her with my bare hands, and now she just sits there on the ground (which she never does), all puffed up and I can pet her. 

And all I can do is make her comfortable and bawl my eyes out.
