Hello! I'm Minnow and Valleyclan is currently my work in progress - these panels are what I've kept after deciding to go in a different direction and focus more on writing, and sharing Valleyclan lore. (I'm too busy to draw these days lol)

I got the ask game from @ranchclan to help spark ideas, but I'm planning written lore drops in the near future. If you have any questions let me know and I'll try to answer them :)

An request is Frostbriar performing one of the traditions from her old clan? Not sure if Frost completely abandoned the culture all together

Frostbriar still practices Ornithomancy! Birds are seen as messengers of Starclan, and because of their sky-eyed view, can transfer information of prey/water locations, danger/safety, yes/no answers. Not all Valleyclan practice it - sort of like tarot there's varying levels of belief in it vs if it's random correlation. Laureldapple doesn't actively practice it the way Frostbriar does,,, but that doesn't mean she won't take it into consideration when Frost does it.

Both refuse to wear any accessories, as ornmentation is common and expected in Valley, and they were both expected to ash-veil. They'd basically be nudists if human 😅
