I think a funny thing I subconsciously did when I made that Prime of Fire image of Heatwave, …I made him hold the matrix from below. Not to above his head, not to his chest, below. Cause like my brain actually went back to think about it, and it’s like, come on, no way the matrix hasn’t been held below in an actual stance
These are the ones I could find in a true stance formation on the wiki, not sure if there are ones where it is held below, but if not it really just hits more to home Heatwave’s view of the matrix and Primehood that he has to face and that is while he knows it’s an honor, he’s one of the first true ones to see the matrix for what it is from the very beginning, others can see it as a way of power of destiny, Optimus had it has a gift, something to help his planet to revolution and a better tomorrow before later on truly understanding its burden, Heatwave though
Knows from the start that it’s a burden, that he has no desire of it, whether personal or needed. From the start he doesn’t see it as a gift, a sign of him being greater. He sees it as something that will never give his life a true peace again, at least that’s what he thinks. Cause he’s providing the matrix with something it’s never had before, someone that will see it not as an artifact but for the mischievous thing that wants Cybertron and transformers to be better. It’s giving them someone with a negative pov of them from the very start, and that is more fun then anything else
