The lost art of mending is something I feel every #thriftshopper should consider reviving. Whether your reasons for thrifting are budget or environmental (or both), basic mending skills - such as reattaching buttons or hemming - will put you at a huge advantage. . . . I found this blazer at @thriftopia.yyc for $3, but the buttons needed to be reinforced. So, despite mending being one of my least favorite parts of the #thriftlife , I sucked it up and sewed them back on! I feel like it was worth it.
