I turned to look to see what it was, then seen a familiar face walk towards me with a smile. I smiled and turned around fully to accept the hug that was coming towards me. I laughed as the man that was taller than me wrapped his arms around me, I did the same. ‘‘Taehyung, it’s so nice to see you’‘ I said pulling away from the hug, careful of the glass of champagne in my hand still. I could feel Jimin tense up slightly beside me, ‘‘who’s this?’‘ he asked, slight bitterness in his voice. The sound of his voice gave me chills, but made me confused. Why did he sound annoyed? ‘‘Uh, Jimin this is Taehyung, I went to highschool with him. He was the only person there that didn’t act like a snob’‘ I said with a laugh, still looking at Tae. He chuckled slightly, ‘‘Yeah, it’s too exhausting to be one. So, what are you doing here?’‘ I raised my eyebrow, didn’t everyone here know why? Maybe he still just doesn’t pay attention to anything. ‘‘Ah.. That. Well, pretty much this is for me..’‘ Taehyung’s eyes opened wide in shock. ‘‘Wait, you’re the one getting engaged? Already? To Park?’‘ the shock, and slight disappointment in his voice was evident. Jimin scoffed and stood straighter, ‘‘And why would there be a problem with that? What’s it to you?’‘ he retorted. Taehyung just shook his head. ‘‘Nothing, nothing.. I just thought she had better... taste.’’ he replied. Why was the tension between them so tense?.. It’s almost like they knew something I didn’t know.. ‘‘y/n, we’re going.’’ Jimin said, putting an arm around me and starting to walk back towards the hallway he gestured from before. I turned my head quickly, ‘‘Bye Tae!’‘ I said as Jimin walk with me down the hall. I turned to him in confusion for what had just happened. ‘‘Why the attitude with him?’‘ I asked. Jimin just scoffed, ‘‘Am I not allowed to have an attitude now?’‘ he replied dropping his arm from around me, taking another sip of his champagne. I rolled my eyes. ‘‘Jesus.. I only asked why the attitude.. No need to get bitchy with me, fuck’‘ ‘‘I just.. Don’t like the look of the guy. Okay? End of.’‘ he said as we still walked, eventually reaching another large door. We proceeded through, one of Jimin’s hands on the lower of my back. I could tell there was something off.. ‘‘Where are we going anyway?’‘ I asked with slight confusion, he only replied with a smile as we descended a couple of stone steps, soon reaching a beautiful garden that was lit by the pale moonlight in the dark sky. ‘‘Wow.. How many gardeners does it take to look after this?’‘ I laughed, he shook his head, ‘‘Maybe 15? I’m not sure.. there’s too many’‘ I really shouldn’t be surprised anymore. We walked around the rose garden for a while, talked about random things.. Of course he still sounded obnoxious but there was just something about him.. I couldn’t be actually falling for him.. Could I? We slowly reached back to the door we had come from, and then Jimin just stopped walking. I turned too look at him confused, ‘’Is everything alright?’’ I asked him. Jimin nodded, looked around a little bit before stepping just towards me. He picked a rose from a close by bush and reached into his pocket. Pulling out a small box and handed it to me. ‘’I’d much rather not having to do this in front of everybody in there’’ he said as I opened it, a ring. Part of me had butterflies, but part of me knew this was because he had to. We had to. I laughed softly, ‘’at least you’ve got taste’’ I said, putting on the ring. Honestly, it was beautiful, small diamonds encrusted around a larger amethyst in the middle. After I looked up after a few seconds of admiring the ring, I seen him standing there with a rose.. He must have picked it while I wasn’t looking. We walked to the door, quickly due to the cold temperature the February night brought, and got inside to the empty hallway. ‘‘I get that you think I’m an asshole, but you’re going to have to get used to it.. I’ll try and not be as bad as I am.. but..I’m not promising anything. We’re getting married so.. it’s something you’re gonna have to deal with’‘ he said with a laugh and handing me the rose. I smiled and shook my head. ‘’Yeah, I guess I’m gonna have to learn to cope with you superiority complex’’ I said with a chuckle. Only a flower, but somehow, it was the most beautiful. As I took the rose, I felt a sharp prick on my finger. ‘’Shit.’’ I said, inspecting the finger that had just been cut because of the thorn on the rose. ‘’You should have looked at where you broke it off’’ I said with a laugh trying to pass of the slight pain it caused. I looked at Jimin when he didn’t reply, and what I saw shocked and confused me. His eyes, not his usual dark brown, instead they were an icey white. Jimin stepped towards me, pushing me against the wall, leaning one of his hands on the wall beside my head. What the fuck is he doing.. I thought to myself. He lowered his head down to my neck, after, sucking in some air. I could have sworn he growled. Just then I felt my bleeding finger being brought towards his mouth, taking it in. ‘‘Jimin what are you doing?’‘ I said, panic clear in my voice but remaining quiet. He didn’t reply, instead, he kept sucking the blood from my finger.. No... This can’t be real.. Vampire’s aren’t real
