You sat in the living room with your boyfriend and his other friends; Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Jungwon. The 8 of you were having a movie night and it was going well.
You rested your head against his shoulder and he put an arm around you. You felt comfortable despite being in a room full of vampires and being the only mortal. You felt safe.
The movie you were watching had ended and you all decided to take a break before you start the next movie. You went to the bathroom before going to the kitchen and going to get a drink and a snack for the next movie.
You had mindlessly grabbed a glass from the cupboard. Jake was standing by you, filling a bowl with some chips. You hadn’t realized he was there, though so you turned, your hand that held the cup hit into him and it smashed down against the counter. It broke into pieces after making contact with the counter.
“Oh my god. I’m so sorry.” You apologize sincerely.
You hadn’t realized that your boyfriend had entered the kitchen upon hearing the sound of the glass breaking.
You started to pick up the shards of glass and Jake had began to help you when your finger glided against a sharp piece of glass and suddenly, you were bleeding.
Everyone in the house had smelt the blood as soon as you cut yourself. Jake stilled as he stepped back. His eyes darkened involuntarily.
Riki could smell the blood too, of course. In fact, the smell of your blood was the strongest to him compared to the others. He could also see how Jake had reacted and he knew the others had smelt it as well.
He rushed over to where you and Jake were standing and put himself in between the two of you. He grabbed your wrist, looking down at the cut. Riki’s eyes had darkened as well. He had to force himself to have self-control right now, though.
“Go to the others, Jake.” Riki instructed his friend but Jake seemed to be in some type of daze. “Now.” He said louder, in a firmer, scarier tone. Jake shook his head before he was rushing out of the room.
Your cut stung and you whined out in pain and fear. Riki looked back at you and grabbed your hand before quickly taking you down the hall and into his bedroom. He shut and locked the door before pulling you into the bathroom that connected to his bedroom.
You stood there, tense and awkward, as you watched him lean down and take the first aid kit he had, mainly for you, out from under the sink.
“Sit down.” He says in the softest tone he could possibly mutter out right now, his hands shaking as he held the kit in his hands.
You hesitate before sitting down on the counter. “Maybe I should just take care of it myself.” You suggest.
Riki sighed as he put the kit on the counter besides you, his hands still shaky, his veins prominent in his hands and arms as he opened the kit.
“Do you not feel safe with me doing this?” He questioned, not looking at you and especially not looking at the cut. Your silence said it all. He was hurt but he understood. “I’d never hurt you. Never.” Your boyfriend reassures you and he means it. He has the most self-control in the world when it came to you.
“I’m sorry.” You apologize, feeling bad for the fear you felt.
“I get it, baby. I get it. I’m sorry that you have to feel that way around me when it comes to this.” He apologizes as turns the tap water on and holds your hand under it, letting the blood run from the cut. “It shouldn’t be like this.” Riki adds.
Neither of us speak as he removes my hand from under the water and shuts it off. He opens up a bandaid for me before carefully placing it on my skin after drying it off.
Riki sighed, feeling himself un-tense. He put his hand on your arm. “Stay in my room. Lock the door behind me. I’m going to go check on the boys.” He told me as he helped me down from the counter.
You nodded as you followed him to his bedroom door. “I’m really sorry.” You apologize, feeling bad for the chaos you’d caused just by simply cutting yourself accidentally.
He looked down at you, “You don’t have to apologize. It was an accident.” Riki reassured you. “I just want to make sure they’re all good before I let you out there.” He explains.
“I love you.” You say, looking up at him with a little pout. “And… I do feel safe with you. I do.” You say. The fear wasn’t about him, really, it was just about the situation.
Riki doesn’t say anything as he leans down and kisses you softly, “I’ll be right back.” He says before he opens the door and walks out of the room before you quickly lock the door behind him and wait.
Nothing really special just a couple of ideas for what I want vampires to look like in a project I'm working on
I was thinking early stages of vampires look like what you see on the left a slowly start to mutate into a humanoid bat eventually being able to grow wings and stuff maybe the more powerful they become the more intelligents they gain when the in the first stages of being a vampire I like to think they would be like animals forgetting who they were eventually being able to gain that's intelligence and self-awareness back more powerful vampires would look like something similar to the left image but be able to disguise themselves as what they used to look like but with obvious features to there disguise
Interesting concept thought after seeing a thing about the sexification of vampires throughout time (vamps have gotten significantly more sexy since their conception)
What if: a well fed vampire is more monstrous/ugly and a starving vampire is more hot?
A well fed vampire doesn't need to be hot because it doesn't need to lure in its prey
A starving vampire on the other hand would make themselves the most appealing thing on the planet to lure in its prey. Kinda like a pitcher plant smelling nice to lure in bugs
My brain makes weird concepts from time to time :P
i haven’t seen anyone talk about this but as enha are known for their vampire concept, may 3rd might have been chosen as the release date on purpose, because that’s literally the date that the novel “Dracula” opens with
i have so many things to say about this comeback, i don't know where to start. well, first of all, it's so good! like, i love the old songs ofc, along with the new songs.
this is my ranking at the moment (but honestly it's always changing):

and this ranking doesn't neccesarily mean that i don't like the later ones because i genuinely love all of the songs.
starting off with teeth...
i actually love it so much. i'm obsessed. i especially love the part where it gets like deeper and slowed down and like distorted. it's just so good.
then lucifer... omg cunt.
i really love the song's vibe and they all did great in this but i just could not get over jake in this song.. he's my bias, okay?
scream was so good toooo.
i could totally seeing this being a reallyyyyy good concert song. i loved jake's part that they also used in the teaser.
fatal trouble was such a good title song omg.
personally, sweet venom isn't my favorite title song of enhypen's (not that i dislike it or anything, i just think they have better) and i really liked fatal trouble so that was nice. honestly, for me, i immediately noticed jake's lack of lines but ig there's plenty of times all of the members don't have many lines in some songs. or maybe he doesn't have a lack of lines and i just didn't hear it right. idk.
anyways, the comeback was soooooooo good. definitely a no-skip album.
