-Base Yandere Headcanons With Yandere Zero Kiryuu X Gender Neutral Reader From Vampire Knight-
.Zero had a bad past; his brother had betrayed him and their family. He was turned into a vampire, and his parents were murdered. For the longest time, he thought his brother had died.
.Since then, he had a deep hatred for purebloods and vampires in general, and he wanted to kill them all for what they had done.
.He had a love for the longest time for Yuki Cross, who was the adopted daughter of Kaien Cross and was really a pure blood vampire who was turned human by her mother.
.He thought he would only love Yuki, but then he met you when he was in his final year of Cross Academy, you were a transfer student and a young adult like him.
.He did not realize he could love anyone other than Yuki, but he did love you, and he became obsessed with you.
.Yuki is now a vampire, and he has been alone for the most part for the last three years. So he did not realize how lonely he had become.
.He is the type of yandere who would make sure you are safe and sound.
.Following you from class to class and making sure that you make it back to the dorms safely.
.He is so good at stalking you, because that is what he is doing, he is stalking you. That you do not even notice that he is stalking you.
.He is the type of yandere who is always looking out for you, and you do not realize how safe you are with him.
.He would try and keep you in the dark about vampires. He wants you to live a life where you do not know the dangers of the world.
.He would eventually come and get to know you, either with you being his tutor or him being your tutor.
.This way, you can be safe and sound, and at least that is what he thought.
.That was until he smelled your blood. Once he had smelled the scent of your blood, he was starting to have the same bloodlust for your blood that he had once had for Yuki's blood, and he hates himself for it.
.He wanted to keep his vampire side away from you and to live a normal life with you, but he realizes that he cannot have that...
.So he tries to keep himself away from you, but he is yandere for you, so he cannot stay away from you.
.He needs to be near you; he is just as addicted to being close to you as he is addicted to the smell of your blood.
.With rivals, Zero is very scary; he is the type of yandere that scares off almost all rivals.
.Human rivals are very easy for him to scare off, but vampires are a bit less scared of him.
.He would not kill human rivals, but if a vampire tries to steal you away from him, then he would most likely kill them, especially if that vampire rival does not back down.
.He is a very protective yandere and would put his life on the line to keep you safe and sound.
.Also, he is a loyal yandere and would never betray you; you are his everything, and he will stand by your side to keep you safe and sound.
.He would not tell you how he feels right away, but he has wormed his way into your life.
.Even with you, the love of his life, he keeps barriers up about parts of his life from you.
.He does not want you to see the dark parts of him.
.He does not want you to know that he is a vampire, a blood-thirsty monster who wants nothing more than to sink his fangs into your neck and claim you as his while he drains you of your blood.
.It is only a matter of time until he loses control and he bites you, drinking your blood.
.This is where you learn Zero is a vampire, and you get pulled into a world you cannot hide from.
.Once you know vampires are real, Zero is hiding almost nothing from you anymore; he will be honest about his feelings for you and tell you just how much he loves you.
.If you accept his love, you will be with him and he will stay loyal to you, doing his best to never fall into a level E, so that he will never leave you and that he stays by your side forever and always.
.If you turned down his love, he will tell you he is sorry, he will not pursue intimate contact with you, but he is honest that he cannot see you be with anyone else but him.
.He knows that it is not fair to you, but he loves you so much, and he cannot and will not allow another person to be with you.
.He is the type of yandere that will not force his love on you, or kidnap you, or force you to love him.
.But like I said, he is not going to let you be with another person but him.
.He told you this because he was being honest. He told you that if you ever ended up with another person other than him, he might not be able to control himself, and he would end up killing the person that you ended up with.
.He is very sorry that you cannot have someone you love. That he is making you live a life where you either have to be with him, or have no lover in your life.
.He knows it is unfair to you, but he knows how dangerous he can be, and he does not want you caught in the middle, where you may end up hurt if you choose and protect another person.
.He will try and earn your love and do his best to be a good man for you.
.He would give you the world if he could.
