Young Justice Fashion Week 2026 day 2: Mythological

For some reason i had an owerwhelming urge to draw Anita as a unicorn 😁 that then turned into a centaur unicorn ☺️ i think she came out rly nice and i was happy to have a chance to draw her more wild since i usually draw her more prim and proper :)

And i knew i wanted to draw Ray and something to do with bird wings, so the result is Ray as a birdperson :D Not full harpy like but there's gotta be some myths with winged ppl right?

Woooo @konbartzine gave the green light to share contributions 🎉🎉🎉 so here are my two art pieces for the zine ^^🙌🙌

The first one is a fake comic cover for one of 3 or 4 parallel 6 issue mini series centering Core Four, called Young Justice Love Trials Presents. This one, of courese, being the SuperPulse edition, chapter 2 Belam Strikes :D

The general plot of this comic would be that Bart has finally decided to confess his feelings to Kon, when Bedlam suddenly attacks, and, acting mainly on his grudge against Bart, traps them inside an rpg game world.

Can the hero of this new rpg (Impulse), rescue the Kryptonian princess (Superboy) before he is sacrificed to the evil dragon lord and Bart looses his shot at love forever???

The second one is a "Step up" movie inspired dance scene in a club! They're still superheroes, but don't know about eachother so it's a meet-cute type of story :D Kon is being annoying and Bart is all too happy to clap back 💯

This was my first zine ever and i couldn't have asked for better mods and co-creators! Truly it was an honour and a pleasure to be a part of this incredible project 🫶🫶🙌🙌🙌

And here's a close up of the portal from the first illustration because i absolutely love how it turned out + the bookmark, that so many people helped design, of Kon and Bart waving at eachother ^^

P.s. Everything that's purple in the love trials art is a representation of Bedlam's magic ;D
