so I got one of those wild republic x Audubon bird stuffies as a kid that have the speakers inside that make the bird sound when you squeeze them. I've had the bearded tit since I was like 5, but I recently found out there's a lapwing.

i went looking on eBay and found 2 of them. one of them was like £50 and the other was £20, so i got the cheaper one (obviously). apparently it's rare. neither of the ones i could find had working sound, so i bought one of those custom sound recording squeezy speakers they have at build a bear. the speaker arrived yesterday morning, and the lapwing arrived just now. if ebay cant give me a lapwing with working sound, i'll do it myself. stay tuned for lapwing surgery. i will be liveposting the process.
