And it’s not like this is going to fix things, not really; Jay still got shot. But it does make it a little easier to forgive Jay for hurting Hailey, who’s probably her best friend, when he’s got that dopey grin and he’s talking about her. At the very least, it confirms that he loves her back, not that Vanessa ever doubted that. She has eyes. Now, if only they’d get their shit together, her life would be so much easier.
