MT. Komorebi Home - Work in progress 🎋
Shh .. listen .... there's a pure still silence in the country air right before hay swirls about them every which way without care. It'd get in their hair if it weren't for these stylish hats so they're mighty grateful for that! Standing in this country scene with the barn, the horses, aw shucks it feels sweetly serene. Right up until the stillness begins to vibrate .. "Look out, someone's close enough to shake!" "Hey!" HAYYY!" 😂

Sunny afternoon memories...
Georgia loves spending time on her porch, springs bubbling behind her. Today, as she tried to focus on her reading, her mind drifted off...
She was with her mother, Rosie, walking through Georgia’s hometown.
Georgia: Mom, I just can’t be who you want me to be. I will never be a doctor, lawyer, any of it.
Rosie sucks in a gasp of breath as if to start speaking-
Georgia: Mom, wait. I need to tell you this. I am leaving. Your expectations are crushing me, have crushed me. It’s time.
Rosie: Baby, no, no you don’t have to leave.
Georgia: I leave in the morning.
Georgia missed her mother, wished she had the chance to do that conversation differently. If only she had told her mother she loved her one last time. Rosie died a week after her big move, before Georgia could work up the courage to call her again.
Still. This move was the best thing Georgia had ever done. She is living her dream, ever closer to being able to buy another slice of land for her shop.
She's definitely going to be on Father Winters good list.
