Yes, I’m on a break from writing, but I feel like I need to chat about the absolute dread of reading so many fanfics. Whether it’s a ship or an x reader. You realise you’ve read nearly all of the works that appear under said tag, so you have to wallow in hell trying to scroll for one that you haven't read, or you just re-read the ones you’ve already read, but it doesn’t hit the same.

I’VE DONE THIS WITH SO MANY CHARACTERS THAT I’VE JUST ACCEPTED IT AND TALK TO MYSELF THAT AS SOON as I'm off my break, I'm going to write for all these characters.

a few lazy vanity thoughts

Sometimes I just think about how much Charity Dingle’s life has changed since Vanessa Woodfield blew into her life and accidentally locked that cellar door. Do you?

About how she went from having no one who ever assumed her innocence, only her guilt, to having someone who was willing to listen and try and see beyond the defensive aggression and lashing out. To having someone stand up for her without hesitation. To having someone who was always there for her without her own agenda.

About how she went from having people treat her like they did, to finding someone to treat her like Vanessa does. Someone who looks at her like the sun shines from her when she’s not looking. Someone who adores her and shows it. Someone who wanted her in a room, and not just for what she could get from Charity either, because of what Charity gave simply by being in it. 

About how she had someone hold her hand through hell, someone who stayed when they heard every detail that people have only ever run from, or shied away from, or berated and degraded her for. About how she did something - maybe for the first time in her entire life - not alone, how she did it instead with unwavering support telling her how amazing and brave and wonderful she was. 

About how she had someone to go through the Ryan stuff with, and the Obidiah stuff as well as the Bails stuff. About how she had someone to pull the loose threads of her relationship with a long-lost child with. About how she’s finally seen the strength in asking for help from Vanessa and knows in some small part that it’s not just weakness to do so anymore.

About how she went from scepticism and holding Vanessa at arms length to knowing she wanted to marry her. About how she once winced at the sound of the word girlfriend and now says it at every conceivable opportunity. 

About how Vanessa stayed and stayed and stayed and buried that trust so deep in the ground that even after something like the Cain incident happened, the first thing Charity wanted to do was come home for a hug because deep down she knew Vanessa wouldn’t ask her what she did to provoke him like others would have in the past, but instead believed her version of events without question and then asked her if she was okay.  

About how Charity is loved, mind body and soul, for the first time in her life, she’s adored and that they’re equal in this relationship because Vanessa doesn’t think she’s better than Charity like all her past partners have. That they’re good enough for each other, that they’re good for each other, that they’re perfect for each other. 

Do you think about the fact that they’re going to get married with all of that in their back pockets? Because I do, and I can’t fucking wait.

Getting requests to write freaky stuff but I gotta wait till my freak week pulls up. I know imma either write the most ASS smut scenes or the characters will be DEVOURING readers ass.

To the person who reached out towards me for this I thank them yet I do NOT accept the apology. Not only that but I put lots of time to my work so I’m going to make this clear and understood…

I want to address something clearly and directly. There have been false reports made against my account, and it needs to stop including Scamming and Phishing which is absolutely full of shit.

I have done nothing but write, create, and work on improving my fanfiction and building a platform for my work. I am not a scam, nor have I promoted anything of that nature. Being falsely reported for simply sharing my writing is not only unfair, it is completely unacceptable.

To those responsible this behavior is childish. Reporting someone’s work out of frustration or for no valid reason shows a lack of respect for the time, effort, and dedication that goes into creating something meaningful.

I have been dealing with my own challenges, and the last thing I need is unnecessary interference from people making baseless accusations. Stay away from my account. Do not interact with my work, and do not make any further false reports.

Respect the effort I put into what I create, or leave it alone entirely. Along with next time from a Noi me I found. Say it to my face and act like a grownup.
