Owen + his pie
BONUS [cause his love started at a young age]
While the pathetic type is perfect for part of the story i want to tell, its actually something i hate in characters when reading.
So i was wondering why Vann was so fun to write.
Its cause hes also a little bitchy. Love that for him.
Theyyy...
Mmmmmmmmm.......

It was the day. The day where June had to open all the PR packages that collected on the dining room table. There were at least fifty of them. She designated one day a month to open them all, and since she was actually home and Sherry had to run all the other errands and things, it meant that Sherry tasked June with actually opening all her mail. She had a pocket knife and her best attitude despite how much she didn’t really like opening PR. It was like no one really knew her, and just tried to get her to sell her soul to their brand. After about three straight boxes of lingerie, she threw the fourth one into the hall out of frustration and she heard Beau’s nails scramble, thinking it was a game as he brought back the box. “Thanks, Boogie,” June said with a sigh and scratched his head.
Calling to Vann, who was somewhere, she yelled, “You know, I used to get really cool stuff. Saddles. Once they made me a bridle for Duck. Remember that wallet that a fan made me for you?” June sighed. “The good ol’ days.” It was nice to be home after the CMAs, and she was in a pointedly better mood, more energy, and just a little more like herself than she had been the last few weeks. A better outlook. It was something that June traced back to one thing in particular, but she left that alone. With half the boxes open around her, she handed one to Vann. He had his own pocketknife, he didn’t need hers and two hands were better than one. “Let’s play a game. Makeup, underwear, or a weird beauty supplement?” Her eyebrows waggled at him, might as well make it fun.
Character designs for a prospective sequel to Midnight on the Milky Way. It stars Frankie, a rough-n-tumble wolfboy who ends up on a train to the afterlife. He meets his beloved sister Clarisse once again as well as a shadowy figure who ties them all together... There at the end is Vann, a spirited runaway who becomes close friends with Frankie. They're physically weak and rely on crutches due to an injury. They offer their friends the "Fruit of Miracles" that is said to change the fate of anyone who eats it.

Colt flicked the pack of cigarettes to Vann, leaning against the tailgate of his truck. They were in the parking lot of the stables, far out. He’d popped by to give Duck his vaccinations. It was a nice midday break. Willa was with Defne for the day, because Colt had to make a handful of house calls as he called them. “I never thanked you. For letting her see Beau,” Colt said. “Thank you.” For the almost three year old, meeting Beau was like meeting her idol, the cartoon heeler that she dragged the stuffed animal of everywhere. That was before June ended up in the hospital. “You okay?” Colt had been giving Vann some space, feeling like he didn’t need another person breathing down his neck. If something happened to Aly, Colt probably would murder someone with his bare hands, so he did what he did best, and let Vann have the space he might need.
