The only problem with this is that if you drank enough mojitos to use up ALL the mint, you’d die of alcohol poisoning.

I live in the middle of corntown USA with no less than eleventeen “TRUMP 5EVER” signs divided amongst its 4600-ish residents

I called for prayer for the people detained in airports (because ya know, God calls us to take care of immigrants and the downtrodden and voiceless) and got chewed out about being “controversial” and “too political” the next week

So while I am definitely not going to water down my message--I believe strongly that God calls me to preach the truth whether or not (and sometimes especially if) it is uncomfortable, I have to be very careful how I word things, because it has to be HEARD to make a difference.

This week’s topic is “when you love someone, you respect boundaries” talking about how God teaches us how to live not because he’s a grump who doesn’t want us to have any fun, but because he loves us and wants a relationship with us and every good relationship has healthy boundaries so everyone can be cared for and safe

but if you think i’ll miss an opportunity to say “Hey um one of those commands was love even to the extent of pain so maybe we should get on that” then you are sorely mistaken ;)
