Rad Louies seem to think there are new producers on the film and it's big news.
They're Larrie tinhats 🤷♀️ When Louis was first attached to the movie they were far too preoccupied to pay attention to any details of the creative projects he was considering. They were busy arguing over whether his son was a plastic doll or a borrowed baby, mocking his girlfriend for wearing the same shoes more than once, and bitching about his mum and his sisters.
Anon, it is not "news" that Simon Egan and Gareth Ellis-Unwin are attached to Adrian Butchart's Vardy movie, just bad journalism.
They came on board in 2016. So did the writers. The tabloids and sports blogs wrote about it then, too. Butchart has been shopping his film around trying to get it made for five years. It doesn't seem any closer to greenlight. Leicester won the FA Cup a couple of weeks ago, that's why he's doing the rounds again trying to drum up interest.
it's not an old article tho, it mentions pandemic and also the reason that the win by them against Chelsea is why they're starting it up again and they're considering louis even after all this time, and now it's for the lead, last time it was a goalkeeper
I see. I still don’t put much stock in it, but here is the article if anyone is interested.

Looks like they’ve got a great team behind the movie now. And according to my source, Louis is actually still in consideration for the role. This is WAY better than the way it was originally presented, so this is exciting :)

Louis is still not attached to it.
Cris, on 30 may 2016, after she finally talked with her source about the movie:
Louis is NOT attached to it. But no one is at this point.
Hmm, she forgot to tell her followers about this “according to my source, Louis is actually still in consideration for the role” or she thinks that she can pretend now that she never made that posts or she thinks/hopes that her followers forgot about those posts?
I’m being pedantic again, but I keep seeing posts discussing the merits - or lack of - of the director of the Vardy biopic. There is no director attached yet, as far as we know. Adrian Butchart is the writer/producer of the Vardy film, not the director.
Vardy movie with Bedlam
Adrian Butchart has secured a production partner for his Vardy biopic. Bedlam Productions are the producers of feature films and documentaries, their biggest success being The Kings Speech. Gareth Ellis-Unwin and Simon Egan will co-produce with Butchart.
The PR was released to Screen Daily today, none of the US-based trades have reported on it yet.
edit: no mention of Louis’ involvement at all. I still pretty much feel like this about his potential involvement. Anyway - production company down; financing and director to go.
The reason Louis was sat at head table might be because most of Jamie's family, if any, didn't go. He apparently feel out or ditched them when he got famous and it's all messy and dramatic according to the tabloids.
Yeah I read that his mum and stepdad didn’t attend. Still, it’s kind of sad not to have friends or other family with you. But then again weddings can be social & political minefields so I should just keep my nose out of other people’s business…for all I know it was a relief for them to not have to worry about which bridesmaid or great-aunt sat with them :)
