who is she really?
@vasdhampir
Even after working together for a longer time, Aesin still wasn’t sure about what Aeri really wanted. Or what she had planned. And Aesin knew better than to just ask her. The woman was witty, snarky, and had an ego as big as one of these skyscrapers in the city center. There was no way she would ever get through to her as well as there was this constant feeling of the attractive woman just playing her.
Every interaction was ... slightly off. Surely, they got along just fine, but it always felt like there was something behind the facade. But was Aesin ever going to find out? She had decided to get along better with the manager of Nightbane.
This morning, she had put a cup of coffee on Aeri’s desk, showing off a wide smile. “Good morning, dear.”, she said cheerfully -- which defnitely didn’t suit her much -- “How was your sleep?”, she proceeded to ask, even though she knew the dhampir probably didn’t need that much sleep. Obviously, she had noticed that the woman wasn’t a normal human, but she had bit her tongue about it ever since they met. If she was up to something, Aesin had to keep an eye on her.
“What are your plans for today? Got much to do? Or are you kind of free?”
