so apparently in German one can pronounce Michel Ney's surname [naɪ],,,
Like... like Bill Nye the Science Guy. Michel Ney the cavalry guy,,,
oh wait it's petty officer? sorry I didn't catch that I thought you said pet the officer. I'm not a native spea- what? why I'm still petting him? Well why would I stop? Look, he likes it!
in my ongoing bid to close crucial gaps in my pop culture knowledge (while procrastinating tackling my colossal art block) I have now started watching James Bond. Note that I have never seen or read a single James Bond so I am going in with knowledge that amounts to:
- James Bond is an agent/spy (?)
- James Bond has a license to kill and a particular taste in drinks
- James Bond's boss is called M but it is different people
- James Bond is also different people but I think theres no lore reason for it. I do not think James Bond can regenerate timelordstyle (??)
- James Bond likes women a lot and they like him a lot. I guess it comes with the job of pop culture spy guy
- James Bond often ends up on Boats. Which is fine by me because I love me a boat. I wonder whether James Bond has a license to skipper, also.
"is your blorbo of age?" but they're clearly in their 40s I'm just asking whether it's age of sail media. Are they of napoleonic age. They're not a minor, but are they a major? One of Wellington's?
*to bdsm couple* so which one of you is the whumper and which one is the whumpee
reading youtube comments is almost never a good idea but under naval battle videos it's great. Watched a video on the battle of the Nile and at least 4 people in the comments are calling Nelson a drama queen
