“When a Vatore ancestor runs afoul of a powerful spell caster, Lilith’s and Caleb’s fates, one hundred years down the line, are sealed. Two thirds of the Vatore family tree cursed to “wither before their prime” -- more than half of Vatores fall sick with a strange wasting disease that seemingly liquifies them from the inside out. All this before their 30th Birthday“

Desperate, Caleb Vatore who has always tried to be kind and good seeks a way to break his curse. If not for himself, at least his sister Lilith. In the end, he only managed to find a loophole-- turning to Vampirism to prolong their lives.  The only drawback being that in order to be turned properly they would have to be hovering on the threshold of death. Hence all the viscera when you managed to glimpse the siblings in their true (dark) forms.

Been sitting on these makeovers for awhile, and the backstory I made up about them was perfect for today’s prompt, so here you go. I like the idea that Caleb is always the prettier of the two, and Lilith is totally okay with it.
