Your headcanon for all the links are always so close to mine, and we always seem to think the same way about certain things and ships and whatnot. uvu;; I think I headcanon Link as mute/somewhat mute in almost every game except for SS and TP, where there are cutscenes where you can actually see him talking (SS more so than TP).

yeah!!!!! i hc most of them to be near mute (i say near mute because completely mute people would not be able to make those qt battle cries) with obvious exceptions. sky is definitely a bit of a talker since he verbally responds to loads of npcs through those nifty response options, and twi has been shown verbally explaining things too! time is another link that i hc to be a bit of a chatterbox when he wants to be, thanks to how much he talks in the oot/mm manga and as the hero's shade 8') what a cutie. but i have a more in depth hc for time's speech patterns on another blog so i won't go into it in detail over here lmfao.

but there's some links that i hc to have a different kind of near muteness and some that have accents and weird speech quirks and whatnot, so! it's pretty fun to think about, yeah!

tumblr's changed a lot in the last five-ish years i've been here. so have i. but some things don't need to change.

three years ago i got into merlin fandom (as je-suis-loser, if any of you who follow me now were even around for that) and it was probably one of the best decisions i could have made. everyone was so lovely there, and we watched merlin and arthur's friendship grow from start to finish, some of us coming in and out, starting late--it didn't matter. we were a family. i was in high school and overall quite lonely and there was nothing i loved better than feeling like i belonged there.

i was fortunate enough in that time to meet six amazing people that changed my life. they are part of why i am so adamant and open about being a "nerd" and about fandom culture. whatever issues it has, it brings people together.

it was so amazing to skype with my lovely merthurfuckers. 3 years strong! even though we don't talk often, when we do it's like nothing's changed. so proud of you all and can't wait til we next chat (hopefully featuring all of us--eli and caitlin, i'm looking at you!). <3
