A couple of weeks ago, @veeagainsttheday started posting a new story, which more or less ate my brain out of the gate. I have spent so, so much time turning the whole thing over in my mind. At some point I realized there was nothing to do but make a playlist about it.

Comments: This was absolutely delightful and incredibly fluffy. I couldn’t help smiling and giggling at the cuteness of it all.

Really exciting, angsty, and fluffy story from the amazing @veeagainsttheday (I hope I tagged the right person!).

There's bitterness, angst, and quite a bit of stress at the beginning, followed by some excitement then adorable fluff to finish. There was a really beautiful line that Remus thought about Sirius, but you'll have to read to find out.

I actually found this through looking at veeagainst's works, because I've enjoyed everything I've read of theirs.

Summary: When a craze for pulpy romance novels about Dark Creatures starts in Gryffindor, Sirius reads one about a werewolf -- and decides to write a better one.

Comments: So cute, Sirius is the cutest, this whole thing is very sweet. Sirius is adorably earnest, and his attempt to write his own erotic novel and Remus’ comments are definitely my favorite part. The way it shows the ridiculousness in Harlequin-style romance novels is hilarious, but it also points out the frequent fetishization of groups deemed as “Other” in literature. Intertextuality, romance, and fluff is a surprisingly winning combo.
