Can you believe we've been eating pizza together for 20 YEARS??!! Yep, we just celebrated 2 decades together 😨 Where does time go?? 😣 It felt like just yesterday that Luca was late for our first date (because his showlaces broke 😂), we shared pizza and gnocchi for dinner at our local pizza restaurant, and then went to the movies and watched Titanic ... yes we kissed during the movie 😝🙊 So, 20 years later what did we do? ...shared a pizza at our local pizza restaurant 😜 The only thing that has changed is that we're not 18, and we're now vegan 😁 Annnd, Happy 38th Birthday Luca 😘 Seriously guys, life goes by so quickly (we know, this is what 'old' people say), you never think you'll be 20 years on from your first date and approaching 40! But one day you wake up and, well, here we are. And in 20 years' time, when we're almost 60, we'll be saying the same thing 🤣👵👴 (wonder if we'll still be on Instagram 🤔) The point is, they're just numbers and what really counts are the experiences. The first 10 years were the hardest... the second 10 we thrived. I had an accident today 🙁 We were walking home from the market with many heavy bags chock full of food (if you've ever seen one of our grocery hauls on our Snapchat or Instagram story you know we buy enough food to feed an army!). We found an abandoned shopping cart and decided to use it to help us get our heavy bags home. I was pushing the cart across the road (Luca still carrying more bags that didn't fit in the cart), and because the cart was so heavy, the road was uneven, and I was wearing flip flops, I crashed my toe into the cart wheel! 😣 The pain was beyond excruciating, my toe nail filled with blood, and I dropped to the ground. I literally couldn't stand up without wanting to faint and vomit 😖 Eventually a good Samaritan came to ask if we were ok... this angel of a woman drove us the remaining short distance home and we gratefully gifted her several punnets of the sweet smelling strawberries that we'd just bought at the market 🍓👼🙏 Good news... toe isn't broken and I can walk👍This post is to thank my best friend who picked me up and carried me down the road into the woman's car, and then carried me up 4 flights of stairs to our apartment ... Luca, I know you're reading this ... I love you 😙 While I rested on the couch, he put all that shopping away and made this beautiful lunch for us, and then washed up, went out and ran errands all over town on his bike, came home and cooked dinner, washed up again, and took out the garbage! This man keeps TVC's wheels turning... yes we're a team, but I want to thank my top team mate for being the magnificent, hard working, caring, and strong man he is 💜🙏 It's when something like today happens that you appreciate your mate even more ...
