#222 Sandwich Maker - Vegetable Slice

This vegetable slice was made up of left over vegetables in the vegetable drawer of my fridge at the end of the week.

butternut pumpkin, a bunch of kale, 1 leek, 4 eggs, 3 garlic cloves. Each of the ingredients was cooked seperately on baking paper covered hotplate. The pumkin was sliced into one cm slices, cooked. The kale was chopped into small pieces. The leek was sliced.

All the ingredients were placed into a large bowl, when cool the pumpkin was roughly cut into smaller pieces, and other ingredients were added. Combined well then put into oiled aluminium trays. This tray was then placed onto the top of the sandwich maker and cooked. About 10 minutes. The entire dish took about 1 hour to make. There was no mess to clean up. Just a matter of throwing away the used baking paper.
