Enjoy the cheeseburger, a classic that will never go out of style. With this recipe, you can make a toasted bun with a juicy beef patty, melted cheddar cheese, crisp vegetables, and your favorite toppings.
Ingredients: 1 pound ground beef. 4 hamburger buns. 4 slices of cheddar cheese. 1/4 cup diced onions. 1/4 cup lettuce leaves. 1/4 cup sliced tomatoes. Ketchup and mustard to taste. Salt and pepper to season.
Instructions: Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat. While it's heating, divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties. Season each patty with salt and pepper. Place the burger patties on the hot grill or skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust the cooking time to your desired level of doneness. During the last minute of cooking, add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty and let it melt. While the burgers are cooking, lightly toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster. Once the burgers are cooked to your liking and the cheese is melted, remove them from the heat. Assemble your burgers: Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by a burger patty with melted cheese, sliced tomatoes, and diced onions. Add ketchup and mustard to taste. Top with the other half of the bun, and your classic cheeseburgers are ready to serve! Enjoy your delicious homemade cheeseburgers with your favorite sides.
