If you're craving something tasty and rich, the Lord Have Mercy Burger is just what you need. It tastes great because it has a juicy beef patty, melty cheddar cheese, and a tasty burger sauce.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1/2 cup diced onions. 1/4 cup diced pickles. 4 slices of cheddar cheese. 4 hamburger buns. 1/4 cup mayonnaise. 2 tbsp ketchup. 1 tbsp yellow mustard. 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce. Salt and pepper to taste. Lettuce leaves and tomato slices for garnish.
Instructions: Put the ground beef, diced onions, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Combine well. Make 4 patties out of the mixture and grill them over medium-high heat for 4 to 5 minutes on each side, or until they're done the way you like them. In the last minute of cooking, cover the grill and put a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty. This will melt the cheese. If you want to toast the hamburger buns on the grill while the burgers are cooking, cut them in half and do it. Put mayonnaise, ketchup, and yellow mustard in a small bowl and mix them together to make the burger sauce. Cover the bottom half of each bun with burger sauce. This is how you put together the Lord Have Mercy Burger. Put a lettuce leaf on top of the sauce, then a cooked burger patty with cheese that has melted on top of that. Cut up pickles and tomato slices and put them on top of each patty. Put the top half of the bun on top of the burger to finish, and serve right away.
