Mace and Graves had been arguing back and forth for a while. Mace saying something Graves getting more pissed off about it. This fight had started out as a conversation about how chicken should be seasoned and now words about rank along with Mace bullying Graves about his height. Eventually Velikan stepped in “Commander. It was a joke, not a dick. Don’t take it do hard.”
