tielfing (red skin, short black hair to abt her chin, black eyes, horns like a short version of a gazelle’s)

sage background (specifically, she discovered an ancient language while researching fiends/demons/devils/the hell’s bc she wanted to learn how her family bloodline became infused with it to make her a tiefling and she’s one of a handful of people deciphering it)

oh yeah she almost died recently bc we went to a cursed place w/ vampires and we had to do a wisdom save against nightmares every night we slept and well she failed all five saving throws and u die at six so thank GOD we left

shes really really goddamn cocky, thinks she knows everything, rushes ahead a lot and is very stubborn.

shes really bad at thinking about consequences of her actions, she also has all her stats below 10 (except for dex/int/con) so she’s bad at most things that aren’t rogue related so she has a HUGE inferiority complex as a result

she has such a good, pure heart and wants to help everyone but she has a logical, calculating mind and that makes it hard. she has never killed anything. she likes to put her emotions away when she does her work or has hard decisions but she was unable to hurt her father figure despite what he did

shes so goddamn flirty, more of a party-girl on the outside, spontaneous and always thinking of ways to improve and to change, her mind is always moving 100km/h but she works incredibly hard to make what she has but she just loves having fun. the problem child.

okay so I was listening to ‘soldier poet king’ as you do, and thinking about the animation meme, as you do, when a Thought suddenly struck me and I began to think about the Fated Five from the DnD podcast ‘Just Roll With It’ in the meme. and here are my foundings:

can you believe a reoccurring joke in the d&d campaign im in is a halfelf noble in our party (with pretty good charisma like +3 base) will. continue to try to convince people that i, a tiefling warlock (with a +5 charisma. base bc. total of 20) that i will eat them it's happened three times in three sessions. 1) telling a pirate captain who attacked us that I'll eat him if he doesn't tell us who hired him 2) telling someone who plotted against us that we'd eat them if they didn't give us info both of those are fine bc we get that sweet intimidation but. the third time. was us meeting a new addition to our party and we're doing introductions and he said i ate people and i said I didn't and. he beat me in the roll off

hi my dudes have some rambling about my tiefling warlock under the cut after my first session last night:

her name is velrissa and shes 5ft shes very short. shes got red skin, with short gazelle like horns and black air (thats short and curly. basically curly short hair that taylor swift has. or that white wig meg wore recently) and she’s super curious about e v e r y t h i n g

she loves mysteries so much, she wants to know everything she can and its almost to a ault how much she loves mysteries. she also hates fuckboys.

(ive yet to properly work out her backstory fully but. she’s got the sage background and ??? i think i want the thing she spent somuch time studying to be the nine hells/tiefling origins and shit)

and since we started at level three she took the pact of the tome, and her otherworldy pact being thingy is a fiend and id like to somehow make it so thats related to what she’s been studying
