The rooster made it through the fire just fine. The first image is the final the second image is just before I applied the clear glaze. As you can see the colors held up very well and became more vibrant under the clear glaze. I can’t sing @amacobrent praises any louder when it comes to their velvet underglaze series. I was able to layer them to create the hombre from yellow to orange to red, mix them to create the pale orange of the face, beak and shading values. It’s like working with water color and inks.
