to be fair, compared to the rural ass midwest, literally everywhere is hella expensive (having done some zillowing & hearing what folks i know elsewhere pay in rent i’m 😬 trying to imagine how to even begin budgeting/planning when the average rent is like 2x what i pay now, for less space). i’m just hoping you can also make more money to compensate, lol
