in limbo where im trrying to get better but i still feel bad in the same way i used to so i feel even worse bc the 'unhealthy stuff i stopped doign in an effort to get better' would help me feel better, but now im just not doing that, and the healthy stuff never worked in the first place so im just doing nothing and its making it worse too

I dont understand why women with ptsd are so discredited when they criticize the institutions/communities/practices etc that traumatized them. If you criticize kink as a survivor of abuse abettedby kink and bdsm: discredited as having an outlier experience and an irrational fear. If you're a sex work abolitionist who survived trafficking and was inevitably traumatized: also discredited. Also told you have an irrational fear. Same thing with religious trauma. Same with (tbh especially) trauma from domestic violence. Why are the victims literally the least likely to be taken seriously??? What part of the fear is irrational

I actually think one of the most messed up thing my mom said to me is that she would never allow me to take hormones or at least puberty blockers because she ‘didn’t want me to ruin my uterus and chest’ What is your problem.
