Mermaid Venti(s) for MerMay 2026!!!

I had to draw another one because I forgot to add some details on the first one lol Venti is not Venti to me if he doesn't have at least the Cecilias

What if Barbatos made their own humanoid form? (Also named "Nameless Bard doesn't die so no Venti, only Barbatos") (Lore and other stuff after the cut)

In this alternate universe (Idk if I'll expand on the AU more), Barbatos [They/He] never lost the Nameless Bard after the rebellion, and never ascended to Archonhood.

Because of this, Barbatos never received their full Anemo powers, nor is able to grant freedom directly. They do still have some powers though, like making wind currents within reason, float, fly for a limited amount of time, along with other small Anemo-related things. They also cannot make black holes or tornadoes, or control the weather and chop off mountains. Their hair also glows with their powers, like their normal AU form.

They have wings that can form on their back, looking similar to feathers but with different segments like their wisp form. Their hands are like talons, referencing Dvalin despite not meeting at the time. They also have an Anemo Crystalfly adorning their cloak, and a hoodie. Their face is basically just a mouthless, black void, though they can form a mouth if necessary to appear normal (As much as they want to) in public. When forming their mouth, they gain large fangs and a blue tongue, as a way to somewhat fight back against normality.

Barbatos is as light as air itself, and can act somewhat bird-like from times, "perching" on N.B.'s shoulders and random trees for fun (They LOVE trees). They're also slightly shorter than N.B.

Barbatos is very playful and childlike, and that often rubs off on N.B. They found their affinity for apples at this time, and they tend to PLEAD N.B. to give them apples when they're too lazy to climb trees. Despite loving apples, they don't really need to eat, but they still enjoy the taste of food, especially when it's N.B. giving them food.

They both now live in the forest, away from the city, and they both like to enjoy the little things in life. They both tend to explore the forest, since there's so much left undiscovered, and the forest is also a good source of food for N.B. Barbatos also learned how to hunt from N.B., though they are very much an amateur at it. Occasionally, they will go back to the city for various reasons.

Fun fact: Barbatos reluctantly accepted a scarf from N.B. cause it was nice and fuzzy and they can't say no.

Also I unconsciously made their design somewhat similar to Ralsei from Deltarune

i have an au idea but its kinda dumb

but if your still reading ill put it out there  its an au where venti was cursed with this flower virus (no its not hanahaki or the love flower disease ) its basicaly a virus that slowly but surely saps your strength and energy until you die, clogs up your system and breaks your eyes apart with those flowers, you dont cough but the flowers die after a while before new ones grow in thier place  this venti wears a eyepatch over one eye or a cloth over both his eyes because seeing hurts when you have flowers in your eyes and uses the wind and this other senses to navigate the land of tevayt still singing songs and tunes but most if not all are sad melodies or cries for help  thing is everyone knows that barabrtos got cursed with this illness so venti has to hide his condition and his flowers away so no one knows hes barabrtos, he is forced to hide his pain and grief away as he slowly gets more lethragic day by day weaker month by month , slowly dying year by year, forever  (i know its dumb but feel free to enjoy it or make art of it or anything except steal it, i love this au and i want my au to remain my own )

just a thing for my venti au idea

venti sat on the hands of the barabrtos statue, listening to the wind flow freely around his ears as he kept his eyes closed, a stinging sensation in his eyes as he does so not that venti minded he was used to the dull pain to various parts of his body by now as flowers grew within his system. his peace was suddenly cut off as a sharp pain pushed through his right arm, venti sighed another flower... at least he thinks so this pain was much worse than when the flowers grew out of him. as his curiosity grew too much to ignore he rose his blindfold a bit and looked left,right,up and down to see if anyone was around and seeing no one was he stripped the blindfold off his head by untying the bow holding it to his face, his eyes was revealed to the world at this moment. the right eye was a big cecilla and the left was split, little cecillas peppered around his left eye as it bled slowly, red liquid tears perpetualy streaming down his cheeks as the flowers were stained with it. he looked down and rolled back his right sleeve to investigate and what he saw was a tiny branch spearing out of his skin.... it hurts he thought as he watched it grow out of the hole it caused , growing flowers. venti sighed tiredly.... it seems over the decades it just got worse...
