A bit of Kalafina Nostalgia
Something quite sweet happened the other day that has made loyal Kalafina fans very happy. I thought I’d share it here with you〈(•ˇ‿ˇ•)-→
As some of you might have already heard, Odaiba’s gorgeous shopping mall “VenusFort” will be closing its doors at the end of March. It served as venue for many small Kalafina release events and even one of Wakana’s solo events
A lovely celebratory event/project was held at the mall where artists got a chance to provide “official” messages to express their gratitude. One of the participating artists was Wakana (if Kalafina were still around, I am sure we would have gotten a message from them). Below you can see her message, she doesn’t explicitly mention Kalafina in this but she alludes to many beautiful and amazing memories at this venue.
The other day we found out that Hikaru had visited the venue as well and got to leave her very own “unofficial” message. Her manager shared this photo here and encouraged fans to come and check it out before the whole place gets shut down forever.
Some fans already made a little trip to Odaiba to find Hikaru’s message and were pleasantly surprised about the special placement of said message. Hikaru could have chosen any random place to leave her message but she decided to put it right underneath Wakana’s. Definitely not a coincidence. It’s a small gesture but nonetheless very much appreciated 💕 . Now all we need is for Keiko to leave a message as well XD If she hurries, she might still have a chance. Fans are saying that her presence is kinda implied here because the guy underneath Wakana has a “Kei” in his name.
