Verse 9: Spitting Venom
After the events of the Battle of Starcourt, Billy was barely alive. The military hospital staff couldn’t figure out how to fix the damage done by the Mindflayer proxy but it seemed it wasn’t necessary to worry. Billy’s body began to mend faster with previously damaged organs even healing fully.
The part of the creature that remained in Billy was changing. It developed a consciousness of its own, no longer connected to the hive mind. It kept Billy safe and began somewhat adapting to higher temperatures though extreme heat was still something it couldn’t handle. Smoking caused it pain so Billy had to kick the habit. They’re so fully integrated with one another that there’s no separating them.
Billy decided there was a lot of bad people out there that deserved to face their maker and what better way than with this new thing in his head helping him set up the meetings?
Abilities:
Demo-armor - the creature can encase Billy’s body in organic armor that makes him look similar to a demogorgan, freaky face included
Superhuman strength - able to lift and throw objects including large trucks, and break through walls
Enhanced agility - able to catch up to vehicles even while unarmored
Regenerative healing - able to heal from most wounds very quickly though ones that penetrate the armor do leave scars
Blood detection - able to smell blood from extreme distances and if he’s close to the person he can tell whose it is
Chemical venom spit - the creature somewhat mutated from the harmful chemicals Billy was forced to ingest while flayed. This gave it the acidic venom that they now use to take out enemies.
