Version 5.0.1 will apparently implement the entirety of Chapter 5 at once, including a new song by Lyn called "Colorful Life" related to Aran, and the rest of the year will cover the next chapter of the story. They describe Chapter 5 as more "compact and refined"

They're working on adding an even higher combat speed setting, along with other optimizations such as trying to improve lag issues, and providing more rerun banners

Joker, Bui, and Fox are being added to the standard contract banner in 5.0

Cherish, Noir, Frostgale Mont, Howler, Violet, Tempest Wind, Firecracker Rin, and Matoi are getting their buffs from Global, while Junpei and Turbo are getting new buffs

Version 5.0.2 will be the next chapter of the P3RE collab, adding Aigis as a playable character. Aigis is a Gun Sweeper who activates Orgia Mode after fulfilling certain conditions, which allows her to automatically deal damage to all enemies

Unsurprisingly, they plan to finish the P3RE collab this year

After 5.0.2 will be 5.1.1 and 5.1.2, which they're calling "P5FES", as part of the Persona series' 30th anniversary celebration. There will be a special PV, some P5 characters will reappear, and "WonderWorld", a "special interconnected world", will feature, which involves interacting with characters from other timelines, including other Wonders

Synopsis for Chapter 5: "Memories and Truth: Their peaceful campus life was suddenly disrupted. Shimotsuna's accident not only sparked heated discussion in society, but also attracted questions and police investigation. The clamor and searching gazes seemed to be everywhere, but thankfully, some people stood firmly by the Phantom Thieves' side. Calming down and reviewing the series of events they had experienced, they finally tried to identify the most suspicious mastermind suspect, and their only clue was related to Aran? Just when they didn't know what to do, Magatsukami announced a new official Menace... The seawater slowly erodes the gloomy Palace, and traps have already been set... But to rescue their friends, the Phantom Thieves will go anywhere without hesitation."

The new Palace is referred to as the "Library Eroded by Seawater": "A somber library quietly took shape, as seawater relentlessly eroded this desolate space... The harsh words echoing in one's ears seem to be someone's deepest fears, and some unwanted memories gradually surface here."

A new area of Mementos will, unsurprisingly, also be added

For the anniversary, among other rewards, players will get two free characters of their choice: Either Joker, Bui, or Fox, and then one limited 5-star character in the range between Queen (v1.3.3) and Blitz (v4.4.1). It sounds like players will also get 1-2 free 5-star characters of their choice based on how much they've played the game in the past year, with the range between Joker (v1.0) and the Persona 3 protagonist (v4.1.1)

There will also be another anniversary cake-making event, like last year. Once again, players will then receive their decorated cake as a Thieves Den decoration

Another rerun banner will run for the duration of v5.0.1, with characters up to Fuuka Yamagishi (v4.6.2) available

The next version, 5.0.2, is stated to arrive on April 23rd. Another update is mentioned to occur on May 14th, presumably 5.1.1

Another new knife for Wonder, as well as weapon engraving for his existing Magnetic Storm knife

Limited time claw machine plushies of Clotho, Lachesis, and Atropos will be available (it's not specified how long they'll be available)
