Top 5 reasons to love Howard Han. Go. 💜

Only 5??? I'll be brave about it and do my best:

1. Resilient. Chimney has been through so much heartbreak and hardship, but he always manages to bounce back, always manages to find joy again and to help others find joy too

2. Sassy queen. Every time Chimney snaps his gum, five years added onto my life.

3. Literal comedic genius. Timing? 10/10. Execution? 10/10. Content? 10/10. Patiently waiting on his Netflix Special.

4. Thoughtful. He is so? Considerate? And caring? Like he just wants what is best for everybody else and he just wants his friends to thrive....don't talk to me I'm emotional about it

5. THEE heart of the 118. Chimney walked into that fire station and looked racism and mysogyny in the face and said "no, you move" and literally created an environment where positivity could grow to make space for the 118 that we know and love. Don't talk to me I'm sensitive.

1. favorite fic you wrote this year

This is hard. I wrote so many things. I'll narrow it down to 3 because I can't pick. So there's 16 Years, my Tarlos Childhood Friends AU, Help is On The Way, Madney car accident with Maddie's memory resetting, and One Bad Day, Prodigal Son fluff with an unhappy ending. They're all stuff that were slightly out of my comfort zone, where I tried things, and I'm really proud out they turned out.

7. longest completed fic you wrote this year

In Cicatrices Amor, my Buddie soulmate AU at 26 497 words, is the longest I finished and posted this year, but most of it was written last year, I was literally working on finishing the last chapter when the year started. Fires, my 911/911ls/S19 crossover at 18 067 words, is the longest i actually fully wrote this year.

12. favorite character to write about this year

I've really enjoyed writing Maddie Buckley, I think most of my fics for her and Madney are from this year, I hadn't done many before. Chimney and Eliot Spencer would be second.

23. fics you wanted to write but didn’t

A Leverage/White Collar crossover with an OC character that I did start but then got derailed and didn't finish. Día de los muertos Eddie and Christopher fic, but I lost the motivation to post fics so i didn't see the point. Station 19 Hostage Situation. Cégep AU. A Dainsley WIP I really wanted to finish.

25. a fic you read this year you would recommend everyone read

Falling (next to you) by @panicatthediaz. Yes, it is a lot longer than what I read most of the time, but it's a great ace Eddie fic. And it does a great job at describing how he feels and showing his thoughts about things, and just following along his journey as he figures out his sexuality.
