I caved in and made a pokemon oc --- Their name is Vessel! often just shortened to Vess or Vessi They were created as a vessle for arceus but after use it just sorta,, stayed. It has similar features to Palkia, Dialga and Giratina (red eyes and the lines)

for serving its purpose Arceus just sorta let them ,,, vibe. the only other command was to "Explore and seek the world as you see fit." And was dropped in Hisui they talk old fashioned - got that from arceus- and is just all around cryptic. they can understand and talk to other pokemon, leading them to be a great researcher and or warden.

theyve had ample time to be acquainted with their "siblings" and think the conflict between the diamond and pearl clan oddly familiar.

This is an appreciation post for my shoes. Don’t laugh and hear me out! Evelyn told me about Vessi back in December and easily convinced me to order a pair - waterproof shoes that look similar to my beloved pair of workout/travel Nikes? Coming off the rainy Philippines assignment and with an imminent move to the rainy Netherlands... Yes, please!

Since they arrived, I’ve gone on and off countless planes with them, walked hundreds of kilometres with them, endured the strange misty NL rain with them, and now hiked through all kinds of terrain with them. They’re light, comfortable, and don’t freeze my feet in the cold like Converses or create a puddle of sweat in the heat like my Allbirds. But best of all, they’re so easy to clean!! I’m not a big shoe cleaner and when absolutely necessary, I’ll dab my shoes with a wet cloth, wary they’ll get wet and still be damp the next day. With this pair, I’ve been literally running them under the tap to get the dirt/dust/grime out and don’t have to worry about them getting soaked. All this to say - I may have found my new favourite go-to pair of shoes 😄. Oh, and they’re from Canada 🇨🇦✌️.
