Hi egg~! 🥰 Hope you're doing well! For your last writers list you reblogged cause I'm always so curious about your writing:
6. When do you title your fics? Before you write them? As you write them? While posting to AO3 and that “Work Title” field is staring at you?
Honestly, all options apply! When I'm writing a fic, I'll title the doc smth fast & dry, like my latest wip is for sabriel from Supernatural I titled it simply "SPN S2E15 Missing Scene" bcus! That's really what the fic is meant to be! Part of my writing process is listening to music to get into the mood, so as I'm writing, I'm thinking what lyric of what song can be applied to the fic. Or sometimes I'll just forget to pay attention to the song n when the fic is done, I'll then spend several days thinking what's a good word that refers to the mood of the fic 😄
10. What’s a phrase you catch yourself using in multiple fics, not necessarily on purpose?
"Your gaze hits the side of my face" and I use it purposefully!!! I loooove the eponymous piece by Barbara Krueger
I love that it's a self-fulfilling piece, how thw statue is always going to be our eternal object of admiration, and how the statue can feel our gaze on her, and how the act of viewing IS a physical act both for the viewer and the object, it's just suuuuch a good piece, I love it. I love it a lot
AND I use it a lot bcus of that! I looooove writing romance, n I've just recently realized that I love constructing romances through them gazing at each other, for me a gaze is so powerful n poignant, n so I find that the phrase is just! Good! To use akaksnsjanns
27. Share a random sentence from a WIP. The less context, the better. Be confusing.
El conserje le sonrie, y sus ojos se alumbran de una manera…
30. Finish this sentence with your fandom’s variation(s): No beta, we die like _________
No beta we die like the Winchesters!
