I want an honest answer.

I’m making a Viking style tattoo design

(it’s a very WIP) and I’d like to know if it’s offensive to get a tattoo of it even though I don’t know anything about the symbolism etc. Because I don’t want to be offensive.

What if some Decepticons and Autobots wore celtic/viking necklaces that they made themselves? Ones that symboled loyalty, eternal life and ones that gave strength when the war was still raging? What about some even encarving those symbols on their armor?

What about some still carring those with them?

Got an incredible new beard comb! It's made from cattle horn and has viking runes carved into it!

I made a hat! It's hand-sewn & based on four-panel Viking-age hats from Birka, Sweden. The cap is wool in a black and grey herringbone pattern, and the rim is real pelt from my brother and my sister-in-law, which flips up into the inside as well, so it's very soft and warm. Just in time for spring...

Originally, the researchers who have been studying Viking society mis-identified the remains of the settlers as male because they were often buried with swords and shields. Finally sorting them by their bones, instead, it was recently discovered that approximately half of the remains were female.

And not only does this discovery prove that there were a lot more female Vikings than previously thought, but researchers are also theorizing that the whole “rape/pillage/war” thing that Vikings are stereotyped for has also been exaggerated.
