For the fifth day of angst-mas, Demo will give thee
VAMPIRE VIL
I swear I'm not dead, I'm just grinding since LaDs decided to ruin all my effort for school.
The vampire line up was not planned I s w e a r
There is a chance this is my least angsty one, it's sad ending. Mild impending doom. Is it my longest? Probably. Don't ask who hurt me. This is just fluff to angst?? I dunno. I know nothing.

Vil laid over his moonlit pool, his nails gently gliding through the water without causing ripples. To be frank, he was bored with his immortal life. He's made a deal with a peculiar huntsman to keep him alive and left unbothered, but the simpler humans didn't know that.
He recently captured a human, keeping them tied up in the corner of the room like a worthless object, to which the human was in Vil's expensive eyes.
The human he caught was a spunky one, more head strong than most he's met. Yuu, the human, didn't scream or flinch by Vil's actions. Yuu was fine being left in the corner of the room, gazing at Vil.
"Little human," Vil sat up, his head pulling back until he was upright, his hair laying over his hauntingly beautiful eyes. "Why did you break into my castle? Did you seek to harm me? Every click Vil made echoed in the room, his words dropped in subtle venom. "Did you seek to steal from me?"
It took a moment for Yuu to snap out of their thoughts, trying to seem tough, but ended up looking like a defiant puppy. "I came to take back from what you've taken from my village."
The vampire scoffed, stepping to the side to observe this little pesky human better. "I don't believe I know what you're talking about," Vil's silk robes dragging along behind him with ease.
Yuu huffed, "You've stolen our gold. Drained us of our riches!" The human actually managed to stand up.
"Sit down," Vil smiles, a simple pat on the shoulders made Yuu tumble back against the wall. His fangs glimmered, fear slowly creeping into the little human. "Why is it your duty to come stop me, hm? Seems quite the hefty job."
The human's pout didn't escape Vil's gaze, and the human no longer spoke. Vil left the human in that room, leaving it to his servants to feed the human, and they quote "Vil said to fatten the human up".
Sometimes, when both the human wasn't being a brat and Vil wanted to be amused, they would have half-decent conversations. Vil explained the joy of feasting on humans, Yuu explained the joys of the sun. It was inevitable that the two eventually became friends.
One should never play with their.food.
"I'm sure that summer breeze is lovely, dear," Vil swayed, walking down the garden with his little human.
"And I'm sure you would enjoy it if you could go into the sun," Yuu smiled. It must've been some time, a few years, and Yuu has grown wonderfully while living with Vil. They were mature, a well poised adult. "Is it possible for vampires to ever be in the sun?"
Vil rolled his eyes at his silly human's question, "We could, but we get a nasty sunburn that scare, or we stay out too long and turn to dust."
Yuu quickened his pace when they reached the stairs, walking Vil up it. "I keep getting reminded how cold you feel in moments like this. Are all vampires cold or is it just your personality?"
"Well, I'd never!" Vil yanked his hand away, his scoff now sounding close to a laugh. "You're such a rude little human!"
Yuu laughed along, bringing Vil back to him, intertwining their fingers this time. "I'm your rude little human, Vil."
Vil should never have played with his food.
Vil sat beside the fireplace, reading a history book as if it's a comedy, his precious human resting on his lap. His fingers soft through their graying hairs. "You look like an old fossil."
Yuu turned over, looking up at Vil with a teasing grin. "Aren't you -what- several centuries old?"
"And don't I look beautiful?" The book as a lost thought, his fingers now brushing over Yuu's slowly growing wrinkles.
"The most beautiful in all the land, my queen," Yuu took Vil's hand and gently kissed the back of it, leaving a warmer feeling than the dancing fire near them.
Playing with food for too long will make it go bad.
It was another stroll in the gardens, Vil having to be the one to hold Yuu's arm as they walked. Yuu was weaker than he was many years ago, their hair gray, and they couldn't walk as fast as they wished. "My queen, you never fail to impress me."
Vil didn't notice the aging his close companion has gone through, he still saw the sweet, pesky human that broke into his castle. "What did I do this time to earn your praise?"
"Even after all these years, you still look the same," Yuu cooed. "My dearest and most beautiful queen will stand the rest of time."
"I know, you've said that these past few years." Vil carefully helped Yuu back up the stairs, not blinking twice at how fragile they were.
Yuu tried their best to move on their own, to not bother Vil too much. "I say it because who knows when I can again, y'know?"
"What an odd thing to say dear," Vil chuckled, his voice a melody to Yuu's ears.
Food should never go old.
Vil would try to bring Yuu out of bed to only find resistance that neither of them wanted. Perhaps his little human is going through another illness. He catered and helped his wrinkly prune of a human, but even time has limits.
Yuu could barely speak, living so long has consequences. They kept a smile, not wanting to worry his queen. They began to forget most words, their sight and hearing fading away. The only phrase Yuu seems to know how to speak is "My queen".
"My dear, can you hear me?" Vil's voice was a whisper, aware that Yuu couldn't hear him in that unbearable silence. He forgot humans grow old and wither, much like the plants in their garden. "My little human, would you like to go outside?"
Yuu barely responded, looking similar to a corpse full of life.
Vil knew it was time for bed as dawn came, a summer's day almost arriving, but he couldn't bare to have Yuu be in the coldness of night during their final moments.
Vil should never had left his food to grow old.
Vil took Yuu outside, carefully carrying them through the garden one last time. The sunlight began to tip over the horizon, burning Vil slowly.
He placed Yuu in a clearing, sitting them down, sitting before them to watch the final moments of their life. "My dear, doesn't the sun feel lovely?"
Yuu slowly looked up, being held by their cheek in Vil's cold hands. "My... Queen?"
"Yes, it's me dear." As the sun began to greet the world, everything becoming colors Vil has never experienced before, he smiled with his fangs. "You were right my dear, the sun feels lovely!"
Yuu smiled back, his old, beady eyes closing as he slumps against Vil, being held by ashen arms. "My queen, I... Lo..."
"I shouldn't assume, my dear," the pain of the sun was ignored, Vil didn't mind the scarring his body had. "I love you too, my pesky human. You poisoned my heart."
Vil slowly turned to ash, holding Yuu in his arms. If one were to walk to that clearing today, they would see an ashen corpse holding a withered skeleton, looking the most beautiful in the moonlight.
Sad little lines my poor dear
So. How we doing on this one-
