1) First song you sing when you have the house/dorm/apartment/whathaveyou to yourself? (Because of course you do (and if you don’t - look at your life. look at your choices). How did you know?!!! Off the top of my head, I’d have to say “We Are The Tide” by Blind Pilot. I sang that a lot when I had the apartment to myself in the Disney College Program. 2) Approximately how many times have you read your favorite book? About 8 times. That would be The Chronicles of Narnia, specifically The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. 3) Ditto seen your favorite movie? I honestly don’t know how I would go about figuring that one out. I saw it in theatres when I was three and constantly watched it growing up and still watch it about once a year now. Maybe 75 times? 4) Favorite scent? Oranges, I think. I’ve always loved the smell, and ever since California Adventure opened up, they remind me of Soarin’ Over California. 5) True or False: When you were a kid, you pretended the ground was lava and hopped about on strategically placed cushions on the floor. 100% true. Fun fact, I talked to some of my Chinese friends I met in the DCP, and they all played it when they were kids too. It may very well be a global thing. 6) Name one thing that is guaranteed to make you smile. Christmas. Disneyland, the beach, and rain will also do it. 7) If you could be ridiculously good at something without having to work at it, what would it be? Drawing. I’m a decent artist, but I’m not talented enough to be an animator, which is something I’ve always wanted to do. 8) Favorite funny/silly/cute/hilarious youtube video? Is it weird that I don’t watch that kind of you tube video? I usually use it to listen to music, watch fanvids, or independent animation. Oh wait, I just checked my likes on youtube and found one. Disney Medley (UMass Amherst Doo Wop Shop A Cappella group), which is basically a group of guys I’d love to be friends with singing really good versions of Disney songs while doing accompanying movements. http://youtu.be/IOoMztym1LU 9) That movie you will never be tired of quoting. (BESIDES THE PRINCESS BRIDE, OKAY.) I think I am one of the only twentysomethings who didn’t grow up with The Princess Bride. I never quote that one, actually. My equivalent is It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, a huge comedy from the sixties. It’s my dad’s favorite movie, and he’s the one that started me on quoting it. Some common quotes would be “What happened, you bent your tailpipe?” “Windmill, waterfall, walnut, walnut tree!” “I’m comin’ for you, Mama!” “Out, baby, out!” “I CAHN’T SEE!” And the list goes on and on and on….It’s really filled with quotes for all occasions. 10) In retrospect, the best aspect of your childhood was _____. Um, my friends and supportive family, and my wonderful sister who fits into both categories. 11) Some encouraging words you would give yourself five years ago. People are actually nice and aren’t thinking evil thoughts about you.
As for my questions, I’ll see what I can think up.
1) What is one food you want to try but haven’t yet?
2) Is there any book you used to love but don’t anymore?
3) Candles or campfires?
4) What’s your secret talent?
5) If you had the chance to either wiggle your ears or kiss your elbow, which would it be and why?
6) Have you ever written a story of your own free will, and, if it’s not too private a subject, care to share anything about it?
7) If you could choose to live in the world of a fictitious work, which would it be, and why?
8) Your chosen superpower?
9) Slippers or fuzzy socks?
10) Do you like sports? If so, which ones?
11) In the event of the zombie apocalypse, what would your plan of action be?
