Vincent studying in Weston and Frances

It never really made sense to me that Vincent would continue/start to study in Weston when he became an Earl of Phantomhive and Queen's Watchdog at 16 until I started to headcanon that he did it in order to protect his only alive relative - his little sister Frances

If his enemies ever tracked him they would come to Weston to hurt him, while Frances is staying home under Tanaka's protection. It also prevents Frances from trying to help Vincent with watchdog duty and getting herself in danger. And of course it helps him meet young noblemen and determine which ones are worthy to marry his sister

Which also means Frances was the one left to look after Phantomhive's estate! There's no way Vincent could smuggle on a regular back and forth all the paperwork that comes with being an Earl. Since Frances was left alone... I wonder what things she would get up to in her free time and love to imagine she would just get thrown into adventures/troubles against her will 👀

Otherwise it kinda hurts to think how Yana sacrificed Vincent's and Frances' relationship for Vinrich fanservise. Like their mother died, their father is ???, Vincent inherits the estate and watchdog duty and then chooses to leave Frances and his subordinates alone just to be gay in gay school??? I would have hated my big brother if he did that
