This isn't so bad, right? I can just.. reach for my bow and...
A sudden blow to the head interrupted the young huntress' thoughts, a loud crack resounded off the walls and small clinks of plate hitting the stone floor of the cave were all to be heard, for the moment.
"OW! What was that for!?" Canerae's voice shook with the question, her gauntlet now covered in blood from her sudden reaction to the wound, "I'm bleeding now!"
"And you'll be bleeding until you kill me. This is a savage land, you'll die one way or the other. So go ahead, kill me."
"I'm not going to kill you!"
"Do it! Or I'll kill you."
"I won--" The exclamation was cut short by a hand surrounding her neck. Tears began to stream down the woman's cheek, leaving rust colored streaks in their wake. It was evident mercy was not something the warrior showed often, if ever. Even more obvious was the sheer size of the man, he vastly outweighed and overpowered the smaller Canerae.
"You will, or you'll die yourself. Do you want that?" A question that may have been innocent, had it not been for the incriminating position the two had found themselves in. With little effort from him the huntress found herself flying across the cave, another blow to the head sustained as her body collided with the wall. She quickly stood, her vision blurring with the rush of blood.
"That's it! This is just making everything worse! I can't believe I ever trusted you, you---" With knees already weak from the injuries it was no large feat for the warrior to knock her off balance with heavy, plate greaves.
"Less talking, more killing."
Canerae found herself struggling to stand up, she refused to look anywhere but at her attacker. Her emerald eyes narrowed into slits as the young woman stood, awaiting the next move. In two steps she found herself face to face with the hulking, glowering warrior. What he hadn't expected was the cold blade pressed to his throat when he made his way over to her.
"You wanted me to kill you? This is me killing you."
In spite of everything, a satisfied, amused smile tugged at the corners of each elf's lips, followed by a short silence. A deeper, gruff voice was the first to be heard. "We have a guest."
Canerae spun around, forgetting about the endeavor entirely when she saw the Watcher standing at the cave entrance, shocked. The knife was pushed down to the huntress' side, gently. She was too stunned to speak.
"Our training methods are a little unorthodox. I apologize that you walked in on this.."
